Description

The Pitt Graphite Matte pencil offers a darker graphite, it's your favorite graphite pencil with a twist. The non-reflective graphite is rare until now. The Pitt Graphite Matte pencil is characterized by reduced reflection on paper, allowing maximum tone density and incredible depth effect.

Let your graphite speak without the annoying gloss dulling its shine. The matte quality of this graphite pencil gives it a unique texture with a soft effect, giving it a spontaneous artistic feel. Pitt Graphite Matte is ideal for outstanding drawing and painting.

Available in eight grades of hardness. Eliminating reflection is not the only new feature of Pitt Graphite Matte. A global pioneer, the 14B core introduces deep black into a new spectrum. Pitt Graphite Matte opens a new dimension in monochrome painting.

Enjoy the Pitt Graphite Matte in: HB, 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B, 10B, 12B, and the new 14B. (H= hard, B= black)

Like all graphite pencils from Faber-Castell, the Pitt Graphite Matte pencil is SV bonded for extra breakage resistance, lightfast, and coated with an eco-friendly water-based varnish.

Enjoy the pencil on its own or combine it with other graphite pencils for contrast, such as the Castell 9000 or Piit Graphite.

The top pencil in its category!! They work even better than the Faber-Castell 9000 because they don’t have the graphite sheen, they are a notch fuller and much more stable in the hand, and they offer greater precision (which means prettier, rounder letters or even more precise drawings/sketches)! Specifically, they have the greatest precision I’ve seen in a wooden pencil (Only the Pentel Graphgear500 0.5mm is better, if not the same, and here we’re talking about the mechanical pencil with the highest precision in the world!) They go up to 14B!!! So, from any perspective, the pencil is worth its money and then some.

I should emphasize that while the Pitt Graphite Matte is much blacker than ordinary pencils, it is just as hard and durable as the 9000, if not even more durable, BUT in the medium to soft hardnesses (HB, 2B, etc.) it is one tone lower than the 9000. So the 4B Pitt Graphite Matte has the same tone as the 3B in the Faber Castell 9000 pencil, while in the very soft grades, it has 3 pencils that no other set in the world has, and these are 10B, 12B, and 14B. Even the 14B is not as soft as one might imagine, so it neither breaks easily nor needs sharpening every half minute!

P.S. You can either get one or two to try them out first, or if you’re sure you want them, you can buy them in bulk, so it’ll be even cheaper!
