Description

Packaging 10ml (or 50ml) containing 100% edible Organic Oregano Essential Oil. Organic Oregano is the common name for the plant Oreganum Onites. The essential oil of oregano is obtained from steam distillation of the leaves of this particular plant, which is different from common oregano. It has a strong characteristic aroma and is often referred to as oregano oil.

The oregano essential oil contains the substances carvacrol (85%) and thymol (2.89%) which give it antimicrobial properties. Organic Oregano Essential Oil is primarily used in aromatherapy for:

  • Tackling respiratory issues such as asthma, bronchitis, and cough.
  • Combating diabetes (2-3 drops of the essential oil in a beverage).

It is also known for its strong antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiparasitic action. When incorporated into a carrier oil (such as sea buckthorn, wild rose, jojoba, argan, etc.), it helps with psoriasis issues.

Organic Oregano Essential Oil blends very well with:

  • Thyme
  • Eucalyptus
  • Lavender
  • Pine
  • Tea tree
