Made from 100% silicone, it is soft and designed to be gentle on delicate urethral tissue. Its outer layer is extremely soft for maximum comfort, the middle layer provides easier handling, while the inner layer allows for easier navigation. The hydrophilic coating of the external surface facilitates catheter insertion and removal without friction. The insertion sleeve allows steady adhesion of the catheter without contact with the surface, minimizing the risk of infection.

Intermittent catheterization general information

Intermittent catheterization (Clean Intermittent Catheterization - CIC) is used by female and male patients with storage and voiding dysfunctions of the bladder. A thin flexible catheter is guided through the urethra to the bladder to empty it and then carefully removed. The purpose of intermittent catheterizations is urinary continence and maintaining the kidneys in the best possible condition.
