It is used for preparation before the dyeing process with the liquid dye Saphir Teinture Francaise. It is recommended to use it to remove the old color in order to increase the penetrability of the new one for a better result.

What will I need?

• Saphir – Decapant
• Clean cotton cloth or cotton pads

How do I use it?

1. First, it would be good to use gloves to avoid getting dirty. Also, if there are areas we wish to protect, it is recommended to use masking tape.
2. If we have doubts about the authenticity of the leather, we can try it on a hidden area and observe any surface changes.
3. Apply a small amount on the cloth or cotton pad and, using circular motions and applying light pressure, clean the leather section by section.
4. Do not forget to change the section on the cloth or cotton pad during the process for better results. Also, if deemed necessary, repeat the process after a few minutes for a complete result.
