Material

Schock sinks are composed of 80% natural quartz collected from the Bavarian forests. Quartz, the hardest component of granite, is what protects Schock kitchen sinks from scratches and dirt and makes them so durable. The ProHygienic 21 treatment (Schock international patent) prevents microbes and bacteria from adhering to the surface of the kitchen sink.

Installation

The installation is inset, meaning it is recessed into the countertop and its rim protrudes. It is the easiest and most common installation for kitchen sinks. Essentially, the weight of the sink is supported by the countertop itself, with some support points at the bottom for stabilization. Sealing is achieved with insulating material, such as silicone, which is placed around the perimeter of the hole, under the rim.

Sink

It features a large basin, which facilitates the washing of large utensils, such as baking trays.

  • Basin dimensions: 72 x 38.4 x 20 (depth) cm


Cabinet

Beyond the length and width of the sink, you should also check the installation dimensions, or cabinet. The cabinet is the required space that must remain empty in the cupboard under the sink, so that during the installation of the sink it can be placed comfortably.

The Schock sink is installed in an 80 cm cabinet.
