Zinc Plus Lozenges with honey and lemon flavor dissolve gradually in the mouth to ensure the slow release of zinc, vitamins C & B3, and propolis to the throat mucosa. Zinc and vitamin C contribute to the normal function of the immune system, while riboflavin helps maintain the normal condition of mucous membranes*. Among these, vitamin C is in the form of ascorbic acid, while zinc is in the form of zinc citrate salt.
Zinc citrate was chosen because the citrate salt has increased solubility and, as a result, is characterized by increased absorption by the epithelial cells of the respiratory mucosa. In addition to being used as a lozenge, Zinc Plus Lozenges can be used as a zinc supplement by children and adults who have difficulty swallowing tablets. It contains no sugar or aspartame and, like all Lamberts® preparations, is manufactured in the United Kingdom according to strict Pharmaceutical GMP standards (Pharmaceutical GMP).
