Nice shade of green, especially for outdoor constructions, combined with other light colors like oak.
The varnish is quite thick, especially compared to other high-quality ones like Renner, so it does not penetrate well unless water is added to very smooth wood. For example, on a smooth board, Renner penetrated into the wood without dripping and fully saturated/colorized it, while Pellachrom dripped and did not fully paint the entire surface. It had poor penetration. I am talking about a test without adding water.
On wood that is not completely polished, especially rough ones, the penetration is more satisfactory, and you save time because the wood appears fully painted with just one coat. For me, the painting was done on rough, unfinished wood.
How many years the protection will last in outdoor conditions is unknown.
On planed boards, the result occurs much faster and leaves a beautiful and uniform surface
Ωραία απόχρωση το πράσινο ιδιαίτερα σε κατασκευές εξωτερικού χώρου σε συνδυασμό με άλλες ανοιχτές όπως ο δρύς.
Το βερνίκι είναι αρκετά πηκτό ιδιαίτερα σε σχέση με άλλα πολύ καλής ποιότητας όπως π.χ. τα renner γι αυτό και δεν έχει καλή διείσδυση αν δεν προστεθεί νερό σε πολύ λεία ξύλα. Επί παραδείγματι πάνω σε λεία τάβλα το renner μπήκε μέσα στο ξύλο δίχως να στάξει και εμπότισε / χρωμάτισε πλήρως ενώ το pellachrom έσταξε και δεν έβαψε όλη την επιφάνεια βαφής. Είχε αδυναμία διείσδυσης. Μιλάω για δοκιμή δίχως προσθήκη νερού.
Σε ξύλα που δεν είναι τελείως γυαλισμένα, ιδιαίτερα τα απλάνιστα η διείσδυση είναι περισσότερο ικανοποιητική και κερδίζεις χρόνο γιατί με 1 χέρι το ξύλο εμφανίζεται βαμμένο πλήρως. Για μένα η βαφή έγινε επί σκουρέτων απλάνιστων.
Πόσα χρόνια θα κρατήσει ο εμποτισμός σε εξωτερικό χώρο είναι άγνωστο.
Σε πλανισμένη σανίδα το αποτέλεσμα επέρχεται πολύ πιο γρήγορα κι αφήνει μια όμορφη και ομοιογενή επιφάνεια
