After a lot of searching for seats priced around 300 euros, we ended up with this one. It is a sturdy construction with quality materials. You can tell by their texture. After trying the child in seats with a front pillow, we rejected them because they covered our 2-year-old child up to the neck and after 1-2 minutes he reacted very strongly. In addition, I consider them unsuitable for the climate conditions in Greece.
Before the Inglesina Caboto, we used for a few months a seat of similar size but in a cheaper category, the 360, which was given to us. It was indeed very convenient for putting on and taking off as it turned towards the door. Also, due to the child's young age, he had to face backwards. Lately, we turned them forward. After some time, especially during trips, the child complained and wanted to get out of the seat, resulting in whining and crying for a long time.
With the Inglesina Caboto, the child did not complain at all during consecutive 3-hour trips! He sleeps comfortably, has comfortable cushions, and good side support for both the body and the head. It also has a slight recline that is enough for the child to sleep. In short, it is worth the 300 euros and we are completely satisfied with the purchase. The only negative is the lack of instructions on how to remove and wash the fabric and straps if you want to.
Μετά από πολύ ψάξιμο σε καθίσματα με τιμή γύρω στα 300 ευρώ, καταλήξαμε στο συγκεκριμένο. Πρόκειται για στιβαρή κατασκευή με ποιοτικά υλικά. Το καταλαβαίνεις από την υφή τους. Μετά από δοκιμή του παιδιού σε καθίσματα με μπροστινό μαξιλάρι, τα απορρίψαμε γιατί κάλυπταν το 2 ετών παιδί μας μέχρι τον λαιμό και μετά από 1-2 λεπτά αντιδρούσε πολύ έντονα. Πέραν τούτου, θεωρώ ότι δεν είναι κατάλληλα για τις κλιματολογικές συνθήκες της Ελλάδας.
Πριν από το Inglesina Caboto, χρησιμοποιήσαμε για λίγους μήνες ένα αντίστοιχου μεγέθους αλλά οικονομικότερης κατηγορίας κάθισμα 360, το οποίο μας το έδωσαν. Ήταν όντως πολύ βολικό στο βάλε βγάλε αφού γύριζε προς την πόρτα. Επίσης λόγω της μικρής ηλικίας του παιδιού έπρεπε να βλέπει προς τα πίσω. Τώρα τελευταία τα γυρίσαμε προ τα εμπρός. Το παιδί μετά από κάποια ώρα, κυρίως σε ταξίδια, παραπονιόταν και ήθελε να βγει από το κάθισμα, με αποτέλεσμα γκρίνια και κλάμα για αρκετή ώρα.
Με το Inglesina Caboto το παιδί σε διαδοχικά ταξίδια 3 ωρών δεν παραπονέθηκε καθόλου! Κοιμάται άνετα, έχει αναπαυτικά μαξιλαράκια και καλή πλευρική στήριξη τόσο του σώματος όσο και του κεφαλιού. Επίσης έχει μια μικρή ανάκληση που όμως είναι αρκετή για να κοιμηθεί το παιδί. Με λίγα λόγια αξίζουν τα 300 ευρώ κι έχουμε μείνει απολύτως ικανοποιημένοι με την αγορά του. Το μόνο αρνητικό είναι η απουσία οδηγιών για το πώς μπορεί να λυθεί - ξεντυθεί το κάθισμα σε περίπτωση που θέλεις να πλύνεις το ύφασμα και τις ζώνες.
