The air pump alternates the air pressure in the mattress, creating a sensation of gentle massage and activating the immobilized cells due to bed rest. The product is indicated for patients who are likely to spend more than 15 hours a day in bed and for patients characterized by medium to high risk of developing pressure ulcers.
