Single-use gas catheter No20. Single-use, sterile gas catheter. It is made from medical-grade PVC. Its tip is closed, rounded, and non-traumatic, while its side holes are smooth and rounded to prevent injury. The length of the gas catheter is 40cm and it does not kink. The fitting is color-coded according to the catheter size for quick size identification. Individually packaged in a sterile transparent package.

The catheter mouthpiece is color-coded according to the size:

• Fr 20 - COLOR: YELLOW

Catheter application procedure:

• MEDICATION TRAY
• GAS TUBES (appropriate number)
• VASELINE
• COTTON SWABS
• Disposable GLOVES
• PAPER TISSUE in a bowl
• Kidney-shaped or paper bag
• SQUARE – Waterproof
• WIDE-MOUTHED CONTAINER or URINE BAG or URINE COLLECTOR

Application for abdominal distension:

• Inform the patient
• Prepare the tray and bring it close to the patient
• Put up a screen
• Remove the pajamas
• Give lateral position
• Place square – waterproof
• Ask to bend his/her legs
• Place the container on the square with the mouth towards the patient's seat.
• Open the tube's bag from the back and remove the tube.
• Apply vaseline to the tip with cotton.
• Pull apart the buttocks with paper tissue and insert the anterior end 7-10 cm while the other end is placed inside the container which may contain water.
• Leave for 10 minutes and repeat after 2-3 hours.
• Remove and wipe.
