  • I installed them in August 2022 and I’m getting ready to replace them with the same ones, although their price has gone up quite a bit. The reason is that I was completely satisfied; I drove 30,000 km without any problems, with not a single puncture and with excellent grip on both dry and wet roads, even in torrential rain.
There is not the slightest vagueness transferred to the steering wheel, and their tread is still at least 6 mm. They are also quiet, and there are no cracks whatsoever, as can be seen from the photo I’m attaching; nevertheless, I decided to change them solely because of their age. I should clarify that I drive sensibly and, of course, I do not expect any tire in the world to stop instantly under any conditions.

Installation on fiesta mk5. Very mediocre tire in dry and wet conditions. A real disappointment for the brand..

Excellent tire compared to Goodyear (which the previous owner had on the car). It's like day and night, the Goodyear tires were extremely slippery. In general, I don't trust Goodyear tires at all, and before I bought the car, I never put Goodyear on my other car. Now, with the Continental tires, I immediately noticed the grip they have. Some might say it's just a first impression, but I'm the type of person who pushes the car to its limits sometimes. Of course, I don't drive fast in villages or narrow streets, but I do make strong accelerations and the tires don't spin at all. With the Goodyear tires, the car would skid. If they continue like this, they will definitely need to be replaced. I will update if there are any issues, but I don't believe there will be.

Update: These specific tires are very soft. This happened because my mom accidentally scraped a ramp and the tire deflated perfectly on the sides. Two employees at two well-known tire shops told me that if I had stronger side tires, I would have had the same damage. However, from what I saw, the side tires were very soft compared to Michelin and Bridgestone, which have the same rolling resistance rating of C. I don't think I will choose them again. They are perfect in terms of grip, but I can't have the fear that they will burst on the next change. I'm thinking of putting Toyo Proxes Comfort 175/65 R14 82H
