This washing machine, as you can see in the picture, has these strange plastic agitators inside its drum, which are supported by a plastic base that forms four small wings with sharp ends that snag clothes. The store from which I purchased it referred me to the company responsible for servicing these washers, which officially determined that these small wings had been damaged from use and recommended their replacement. I want to mention here that I did not misuse the washing machine in any way and the agitators were not damaged, but they were like that from their construction.
Basically, the problem is not with the agitators but with this plastic frame on which they are mounted, which is completely unnecessary. If you touch the ends of the frame with your finger, you will feel that they are sharp, and we all understand that there should not be any objects with sharp edges inside the drum. Also, these four small ends on the bases of the agitators do not touch the drum, so it is very easy for clothes to get stuck there. In my opinion, this is a serious manufacturing defect.
In any case, the service replaced the agitators, but they still leave these wings protruding from the base of the drum. Essentially, no repair was made. In my first wash after the replacement, the snagging of the orange shirt (which I now use as a test) got worse.
As you can understand, I dare not wash shirts and curtains in this washing machine. I take them elsewhere. The service is trying to blame me and suggests that I use a mesh instead of addressing the root of the problem.
Also, something else you should know is that the plastic parts of the washing machine are not covered by the warranty. This is very important since the door of the washing machine is made of cheap material and is very easy to break. However, until now, I have not been charged for the two service visits, even though their initial intention was for me to bear the cost of the replacement parts and the visit. My problem has not been resolved yet, and I do not know if it will be resolved in the end. For these reasons, I would not recommend buying this particular washing machine so that you do not end up like me with torn clothes and suggestions for the mandatory use of mesh bags for the washing machine instead of a definitive solution to the problem.
