The meter, from the company Kraft&Dele, is ideal for use in the wood industry, testing fabrics and paper, and storing building materials. A non-invasive inductive meter is located on the sensor at the back of the tool, emitting and receiving electromagnetic signals through the material under test. The displayed reading is the average moisture content of the entire surface and the maximum penetration depth. Moisture near the surface has a greater effect on the average value than moisture near the maximum penetration depth.
The meter features an internal automatic calibration function, so no manual calibration is needed.
