yes it can with hdmi spliter youl need 3 hdmi cables 2 for ps3 and pliter and 1 for spliter to pc the usb connection for pc to play ps3 games it got a litle lag hdmi also got some lag but less i used Goobay HDMI Splitter 58481 this to bypass the hdmi protection, i also use obs studio program to capture video. but be aware of input lag of this device.
