    I've had it for over 2 years. I mainly got it to store music. It has been pretty fast the times I've used it and so far it hasn't given me any issues. I hope it stays that way. (Note: I had to format it to fat32 because I use a Mac.)

    After 3 years of minimal use of the exact same model (I backed up approximately every 3 months), it gave up. Suddenly, it stopped being recognized by all the computers I had, and the light just kept flashing constantly. Unfortunately, the warranty was for 2 years.
