    I've had it for over 2 years. I mainly got it to store music. It has been pretty fast the times I've used it and so far it hasn't given me any issues. I hope it stays that way. (Note: I had to format it to fat32 because I use a Mac.)

    After 3 years of minimal use of the exact same model (I backed up approximately every 3 months), it gave up. Suddenly, it stopped being recognized by all the computers I had, and the light just kept flashing constantly. Unfortunately, the warranty was for 2 years. You can see many similar experiences on the internet.

    I've had it for over 2 years. I mainly got it to store music. It has been pretty fast the times I've used it and so far it hasn't given me any issues. I hope it stays that way. (Note: I had to format it to fat32 because I use a Mac.)

    I have had it for 1.5 years. It's a pretty good record, almost silent and quite fast. The construction could have been a little better, I have a small complaint about the quality of the plastics. Overall, I recommend buying it!

    After 2 years, it broke down, just in time for me to miss the warranty, and I only used it heavily during the second year.

    Although it is plastic, the build quality is quite good. The data transfer speed is quite fast. If you don't have many large files and are looking for a good, sturdy, and affordable hard drive, then it is a good solution.

    It has a warranty of only 2 years.
    2. I used it sparingly for 3 years, when the hard drive crashed.
    3. Unacceptable and nothing like the old WDs.
