    I've had it for over 2 years. I mainly got it to store music. It has been pretty fast the times I've used it and so far it hasn't given me any issues. I hope it stays that way. (Note: I had to format it to fat32 because I use a Mac.)

    After 3 years of minimal use of the exact same model (I backed up approximately every 3 months), it gave up. Suddenly, it stopped being recognized by all the computers I had, and the light just kept flashing constantly. Unfortunately, the warranty was for 2 years. You can see many similar experiences on the internet.

    The disk is very fast, economical, and very good. If I need to buy again, I will buy the same one. I transferred 60gb of movies in 3 and a half minutes, and all my files were transferred one on top of the other in no more than 10 minutes. And we're talking about a total of around 150gb of files.
