The truth is that I had lower expectations for speakers in the 100€ range. To my surprise, however, I did not expect to get a product that is more than fair and good in build quality, careful packaging and internal wrapping, included cables you will need, and sound quality better than I thought.
I use them with the onboard sound card of the MSI MEG X-570 Ace motherboard and still I was more satisfied than I expected. I use them for music (Ableton) and playback listening, as well as for gaming. Excellent job by Edifier. Those who have even better sound cards will get even better results. For VFM I recommend them without a second thought. They are more than just VFM. I can say it’s one of my best purchases.

Ideal for a medium-sized room. Extremely good sound for simple use. Clearly not for parties, but to listen to relatively loud music in a room, they are good. Personally, I combined them with Edifier T5 (subwoofer) to have 'plenty of bass' and I can say that I am fully satisfied after 3 months of having them. For 90-100 euros that they go for in the market, they are very worthwhile. Note: the bass is not nonexistent, but after a certain point, it is inadequate.

The best purchase for someone looking for honest and reliable budget monitors. At first, I was torn between the Mackie CR3-X, CR4-X, and the Presonus Eris 3.5, but after many reviews about the static noise they produce, I decided to go for the MR4. These speakers have everything. Balanced TRS, low and high-frequency trimmers for custom adjustment, RCA, front AUX and headphone input, and the Monitor/Music function which changes the frequency spectrum for a more flat or enriched sound.

Compared to the Mackie CR3-X, Presonus Eris E3.5, M-Audio BX3, etc. which belong to the same category, the Edifier MR4 not only does not fall behind anywhere, on the contrary, it excels in many areas. Awesome sound, clean bass, and their sound profile is very pleasant. I have never used headphones on my desktop before.
If you search, you can find them for around 100 euros. But even at the price of 180 euros that I see them reaching on Scroutz, they are still the best you can buy for that money.

Συγκριτικά με τα Mackie CR3-X, Presonus Eris E3.5, M-Audio BX3 κλπ. που ανήκουν στην ίδια κατηγορία, τα Edifier MR4 όχι μόνο δεν υστερούν πουθενά, το αντίθετο μάλιστα, υπερέχουν σε πολλούς τομείς. Στα θετικά τους πρέπει να επισημάνουμε ότι δεν ακούγεται θόρυβος/φύσημα από το tweeter όταν είναι αναμμένα χωρίς να παίζουν.
Γενικώς από το να δώσει κάποιος 50€ ~ 80€ για να πάρει «καλά» πλαστικά ηχεία υπολογιστή, καλύτερα να ανέβει λίγο ακόμα και να πάει στα 99€ όπου με αυτό το ζευγάρι monitors θα χαρεί πραγματικά ποιοτική απόδοση στην μουσική.

Ο ήχος τους απλά κοστίζει πολύ περισσότερο από όσο κανουν,πεντακάθαρος κρυστάλλινος ήχος ακόμη και σε πολύ ψηλή ένταση. Από το να δώσεις 50 ευρώ να πάρεις ένα μέτριο ηχείο παίρνεις τα συγκεκριμένα και δεν ασχολείσαι ξανά με το θέμα ήχος
After a lot of research, I chose these speakers and have been using them daily for months.
Awesome sound, clean bass, and their sound profile is very pleasant. I have never used headphones on my desktop before.
If you search, you can find them for around 100 euros. But even at the price of 180 euros that I see them reaching on Scroutz, they are still the best you can buy for that money.
Μετα απο αρκετη ερευνα, επελεξα αυτα τα ηχεια και τα χρησιμοποιω καθημερινα εδω και μηνες.
Φοβερος ηχος, καθαρα μπασα και το sound profile τους πολυ ευχαριστο. Δεν εχω χρησιμοποιησει ξανα ακουστικα στο desktop μου.
Αν ψαξετε, μπορειτε να τα βρειτε γυρω στα 100 ευρω. Αλλα ακομα και στα 180 που βλεπω την τιμη τους να φτανει στο σκρουτζ, ειναι και παλι ο,τι καλυτερο μπορεις να αγορασεις σε αυτα τα λεφτα.
The truth is that I had lower expectations for speakers in the 100€ range. To my surprise, however, I did not expect to get a product that is more than fair and good in build quality, careful packaging and internal wrapping, included cables you will need, and sound quality better than I thought.
I use them with the onboard sound card of the MSI MEG X-570 Ace motherboard and still I was more satisfied than I expected. I use them for music (Ableton) and playback listening, as well as for gaming. Excellent job by Edifier. Those who have even better sound cards will get even better results. For VFM I recommend them without a second thought. They are more than just VFM. I can say it’s one of my best purchases.
Η αλήθεια είναι πώς είχα μικρότερες πεποιθήσεις για ηχεία της τάξεως 100€. Προ εκπλήξεως ομως, δεν περίμενα να πάρω προϊόν το οποίο είναι παραπάνω από τίμιο και καλό σε ποιότητα κατασκευής, προσεγμένη συσκευασία και τύλιγμα εσωτερικά, παρελκόμενα καλώδια που θα χρειαστείς και ποιότητα ήχου καλύτερη από αυτή που πίστευα.
Τα χρησιμοποιώ με κάρτα ήχου onboard της μητρικής πλακέτας MSI MEG X-570 Ace και παρόλα αυτά έμεινα περισσότερο ευχαριστημένος από τον στόχο που είχα. Τα χρησιμοποιώ για μουσική (Ableton) και αναπαραγωγή άκουσμα, καθώς και για παιχνίδια. Εξαιρετική δουλειά από την Edifier. Όσοι έχουν και ακόμα πιο καλές κάρτες ήχου, θα έχουν ακόμη καλύτερο αποτέλεσμα. Για VFM τα προτείνω χωρίς δεύτερη σκέψη. Είναι κάτι παραπάνω από VFM. Από τις καλύτερες αγορές μου μπορώ να δηλώσω.
About a year after the purchase and I am absolutely satisfied. In a relatively small room their power is more than enough and the sound quality is excellent. I would easily buy them again...
Ένα χρόνο περίπου μετά την αγορά και είμαι απόλυτα ικανοποιημένος.Σε μικρό σχετικά δωμάτιο η ισχύς τους είναι υπέρ-αρκετή και η ποιότητα του ήχου εξαιρετική.Θα τα ξαναγόραζα άνετα...
