Demonic, occult, creepy, psychologically profound: "Black Romanticism" is a bearer of associations, behind which only faintly projects a definitively identifiable term. This term, which has become a common place, is based on a literary origin. In the present work, the structures and motivations of a selected channel of texts are subjected to an analysis that spans epochs and countries. The link between Gothic Novel, horror, and creepy tales, as well as the overarching genre of Fantastic literature, is at the center of the study, whose aim is to connect the layered substantive "Black Romanticism" with a scientifically grounded meaning.
