    The SPF index is a measure of sun protection. For example, if the skin usually starts to turn red after 20 minutes of sun exposure, then using sunscreen with an SPF of 15 will prevent redness 15 times more than the skin's natural defense.

    My dermatologist recommended it to me after removing a mole from my face. Because my skin is oily, I had several reservations about its texture.     I bought it but I don't have an opinion on the protection it provides because simply you can't go outside wearing it on your face. It feels like you've applied olive oil... incredibly greasy... just tragic... at the beach and if I will use it...
