The Discovery Crafts DGL 50 is a double magnifying lens with tilted lenses: the user can remove one or two lenses simultaneously. This solution is convenient when you need to alternately look at the object under magnification and with the naked eye. The magnifying glasses have a short focal distance and offer a high magnification factor, making them ideal for precise tasks such as modeling, soldering, repairing mechanisms, and assessing surface damage.
The interchangeable lenses are offered in pairs – 4 sets of 2 lenses. The optics are made from highly transparent polymer optical glass, a very durable material that in terms of quality is not inferior to standard glass and its durability may be even higher. The lenses are attached to the eye socket, while the earpieces can be replaced with a fabric strap if needed.
There are LEDs next to each lens and the lighting angle can be adjusted to ensure an accurate and clear illuminated work area. Batteries are required for the lighting to function.
