Excuses and the policy of Praktiker when I went to exchange it: The warranty does not cover the breakage, but then what does it cover, I ask? We are not talking about a glass jar that I broke by dropping it!! We are talking about a wooden chair that simply had a person sit on it. Response: the warranty covers the 8-10 huge steel screws if they break or the two steel connectors of the legs (which are not likely to break). An unacceptable excuse and irony for a wooden garden chair that the warranty does not cover the breakage of defective woods. It's like saying you bought an electrical appliance that burned out, but the warranty only covers its cord and the plug that goes into the socket!!!
