First of all, let me say that I replaced it with a Hitachi, also a wardrobe-style fridge, and I regretted it. The design is not convenient at all (the door handles), the shelves and generally the interior are very cheap. We've had it for 2.5 years and from the moment we passed the two-year mark, it has been acting up and the freezer doesn't work properly; it keeps defrosting the food while the fridge section works fine. Now I'm trying to figure out what options I have and if it's worth repairing. It's not worth the money, I regret my choice but I got excited with the 'change your appliance' coupons and decided to replace the old one which was 12 years old. I should mention that the compressor had to be replaced and fortunately it was under warranty. As a company, LG has good customer service but the appliance has completely disappointed me in terms of ergonomics and quality

For 2 weeks of use, it seems to be without problems, but unfortunately, I consider it a huge design flaw from LG to have the water filter exposed, without a designated spot (in some recess or inside the fridge) and having to hide it under the kitchen cabinets, behind the debris, with the supply hose dragging. My huge mistake, of course, was that I made the cabinets with a depth of 60cm, while for such fridges it is better to be built with a depth of 70cm.

The only thing I didn't like and didn't give it 5 stars for is that the bottom shelf on the refrigerator door is huge to fit many bottles but it can't handle so much weight! The shelf gradually bent under the weight, detached from the door, and rested on the vegetable drawer. Everything almost broke when we opened the door! Luckily, we caught them in the air, with the door half-open, and luckily the shelf didn't break either! Now I load it with much less weight so it doesn't break. But the size of the shelf makes you believe that it is designed to hold much more than it can! So I give it 4 stars because with a slightly better shelf design, they could make it sturdy enough to fill it without needing to put boxes to prevent the shelf from weighing down, as it has height for bottles!

The refrigerator is very good both in cooling and freezing. It is very quiet and can be connected to an external water supply. It is very energy efficient, consuming less than 1Kwh/day! The only negative thing I have to say is that compared to a similar Samsung refrigerator I had, it does not continuously dispense cold water, only in the first glass. Otherwise, wonderful design and plenty of space!

First of all, let me say that I replaced it with a Hitachi, also a wardrobe-style fridge, and I regretted it. The design is not convenient at all (the door handles), the shelves and generally the interior are very cheap. We've had it for 2.5 years and from the moment we passed the two-year mark, it has been acting up and the freezer doesn't work properly; it keeps defrosting the food while the fridge section works fine. Now I'm trying to figure out what options I have and if it's worth repairing. It's not worth the money, I regret my choice but I got excited with the 'change your appliance' coupons and decided to replace the old one which was 12 years old. I should mention that the compressor had to be replaced and fortunately it was under warranty. As a company, LG has good customer service but the appliance has completely disappointed me in terms of ergonomics and quality

If you exclude that cold water is only the first glass it dispenses, but you have the ice that fixes the issue, the refrigerator is excellent. It is one of the largest in its category, inexpensive, quiet, and consumes 60 watts measured with a plug. I have 2 and will get a 3rd for another house.

For 2 weeks of use, it seems to be without problems, but unfortunately, I consider it a huge design flaw from LG to have the water filter exposed, without a designated spot (in some recess or inside the fridge) and having to hide it under the kitchen cabinets, behind the debris, with the supply hose dragging. My huge mistake, of course, was that I made the cabinets with a depth of 60cm, while for such fridges it is better to be built with a depth of 70cm.

The refrigerator is amazing. The only thing I didn't like and didn't give it 5 stars for is that the bottom shelf on the refrigerator door is huge to fit many bottles but it can't handle so much weight! The shelf gradually bent under the weight, detached from the door, and rested on the vegetable drawer. Everything almost broke when we opened the door! Luckily, we caught them in the air, with the door half-open, and luckily the shelf didn't break either! Now I load it with much less weight so it doesn't break. But the size of the shelf makes you believe that it is designed to hold much more than it can! So I give it 4 stars because with a slightly better shelf design, they could make it sturdy enough to fill it without needing to put boxes to prevent the shelf from weighing down, as it has height for bottles!
