Description

Description

The Axle Radeon RX 580 is a graphics card that is aimed at users who are looking for a reliable and efficient solution for their gaming and video processing needs. Equipped with the Polaris architecture, it features 8GB GDDR5 memory and 2304 stream processors, offering impressive performance at resolutions up to 1440p in a large number of modern game titles.

In addition, the card supports AMD FreeSync and Radeon Chill technologies, which enhance the user experience and reduce energy consumption.

Polaris Architecture

The Polaris is a new graphics architecture that incorporates exciting features and improvements for almost every aspect of a graphics chip. Among these are increased performance levels, smooth VR performance, support for next-generation gaming monitors, and live game streaming without a processor.

AMD App Acceleration

Accelerates everyday applications such as internet browsing and video playback. Additionally, it is the first technology to provide support for both OpenCL, C++ AMP, and DirectCompute 11.

AMD PowerTune technology

Smart monitoring of energy on AMD Radeon graphics to allow higher clock speeds and better performance in your favorite games.

AMD ZeroCore Power Technology

Allows AMD Radeon graphics to consume almost no power when idle. It even shuts down additional GPUs in AMD CrossFire technology mode to consume less power when not in use.

AMD FreeSync

Radeon FreeSync technology enhances the lives of gamers by eliminating stuttering and tearing, allowing for a smoother gaming experience. By synchronizing the screen's refresh rate with the GPU's frame rate, players will never have to worry about artifacts that appear when there is no active variable refresh rate.

AMD Eyefinity

AMD Eyefinity is a technology that allows the combination of two or more displays to create a single workspace. The screen resolution and area of the unified workspace are determined by the number of displays and their arrangement in the Eyefinity group. For example, three 1920x1080 displays arranged in a 3x1 AMD Eyefinity configuration will produce a horizontal workspace with a combined resolution of 5760x1080.

Added to a mid-range PC from four years ago as an attempt to upgrade (essentially added memory, a larger SSD, and this specific card replaced a 4GB one). I mainly use it for DCS (VR), ArmA, and occasionally some FPS games. It does the job for what I need without struggling.

At the price of €145 that I really caught whatever vfm existed (after it skyrocketed)! As for the mentioned bios update, it is not necessary for a motherboard with compatibility with this gpu. This is to help people who don't know that if they make a mistake in the flash process, it may not be reversible! A big bravo to the friend who provided the Reddit link for the fix so that the drivers can be installed correctly and everything works easily. Friendly, I suggest using the pro driver of and instead of the latest Adrenalin for stability reasons

I found it at a great offer (200€), so yes, it's worth its money. In most cases, it requires flashing the BIOS to work, and no, it's not good enough to pay 300-400... Prefer a more well-known company, another card at a similar price, because it drove me crazy to get it to work and its performance compared to a 1050 Ti 4gb that I have for comparison, is not that much better.

Plays PUBG & GTA V on VERY HIGH settings without any problem. Of course, it struggled a couple of times and kicked me out of the game. Something that didn't happen with the previous GPU. Maybe it was just a coincidence though.
I had an issue with the DRIVERS, but it was resolved according to the instructions given in a previous comment.
Also, I have to mention that it is from the depths of China, so you will find something similar abroad for around 100 euros without considering customs fees. So the price of 160 euros is quite good and represents the product 100% at the time of writing this comment.
