I left it for 10 minutes, brushed, and finally wiped with thick kitchen paper. It reached a point that satisfied me. When I was sure it was dry, I applied the lubricant, turning the wheel backward again. Always on the inner side of the chain. I applied the lubricant, not to paint it. Just to let the lubricant fall. I left it alone for 2 hours. After 2 hours, I took a microfiber cloth and wiped strongly. Just enough to touch the finger on the chain and leave (just enough) a damp feeling. The lubricant, after the required time, has "settled" where needed. As the chain moves, due to heat, it spreads and does its job. If it hasn't been wiped, the excess is thrown off as useless from the chain.
