As you know, Allen screws are not for much, their heads break easily, especially if they are old-rusty, I wonder why they haven't been abolished and replaced with torx or something else that can withstand torque,
and then comes Wera and applies the flank geometry that the hex keys have (see photo on Google) and calls it hex-plus here, because an Allen is an inverted hexagonal key, so you have more "protection" on the head of the screw with more applied torque, at least until it comes out and doesn't strip, I couldn't find this flank geometry in any other brand of Allen keys, while it has become standard in hex keys, along with the quality of Wera's steel here we have a tool that can get you out of many troubles.
Even if you have another quality brand of Allen keys, which have good metals and small tolerances, if you often encounter old Allen screws, get Wera hex-plus, they are worth every euro.
cons: they are difficult to remove from the case, the rubber coating of the Allen key gets damaged if hit, but it is thick enough not to tear

και έρχεται η wera και εφαρμόζει τη γεωμετρία του flank που έχουν τα καρυδάκια (δες φωτο στο google) και την ονομάζει εδώ hex-plus, γιατί ένα άλλεν είναι ανεστραμμένο εξάγωνο καρυδάκι, έτσι έχεις περισσότερη «προστασία» στη κεφαλή της βίδας με περισσότερη εφαρμοσμένη ροπή, τουλάχιστον μέχρι να βγει και να μην σου κλωτσήσει, αυτή τη flank γεωμετρία δεν την βρήκα σε άλλη μάρκα σε άλλεν, ενω στα καρυδάκια έχει γίνει στάνταρντ, μαζί με την ποιότητα του ατσαλιού της wera εδώ έχουμε ένα εργαλείο που μπορεί να σε βγάλει απο πολλούς μπελάδες.
Ακόμα και να έχετε άλλη ποιοτική μάρκα άλλεν, που έχουν καλά μέταλλα και μικρές ανοχές, αν βρίσκετε συχνά παλιές βίδες άλλεν πάρτε wera hex-plus, αξίζουν κάθε ευρώ
