Quiet, economical, beautiful, easy application with excellent wifi. The legend, as well as the inventor, proved to be a treasure! I started with a dehumidifier and reached three, the quality and service of the company and the employees forced me to try an air conditioner, because I was skeptical about Japanese products, and yet, a Greek company proved to be much better than old and heavy names, because I am 48 and have paid many names, but now what I paid for, I enjoy it.

P.S. 1. 5/6/24. It worked perfectly and without any problems all winter! In 5 minutes the room became an oven, and then with minimal consumption and no noise it maintained 21 degrees!

Well, in 3 minutes it turns the room into a freezer, and then with minimal consumption and no noise it maintained 26 degrees! If you make the mistake and you are directly in front of it, you get a cold... So be careful with the placement...

Words are unnecessary, quality! Performance! Consumption! Quiet!

I replaced in the living room, which is about 40sqm, a cheap 10-year-old Inventor 12,000BTU, which I considered to be constantly working at full capacity in order to create relatively OK conditions each time, whether in cooling or heating. So, I chose to buy this particular Inventor Legend with double the theoretical performance (24,000BTU) and supposedly new technologies (more economical, efficient, etc.). Honestly, I expected that whether in cooling or heating, it would easily handle the space, meaning that at the beginning it would work hard, but due to its "size" it could quickly reach the desired temperatures (e.g. 22-24 degrees) and then work more relaxed to maintain the temperature. Considering the consumption it has (I can compare it with a power meter) and it is almost double compared to the 12, it does not have twice the performance despite being rated A+++. It is probably similar to the old one, which would be rated C-D, I imagine.

I will lose 100 euros to bring a serious technician again to reinstall it using a vacuum pump and check that the refrigerant is properly charged because the way the technicians of the stores do the installation with "free installation" without doing a "vacuum" is likely to result in the machine not working at 100% and I am being unfair to it.

And something else to add. The remote control for the Legend series, which due to its price and features (if you compare all the residential series on the Inventor website), seems to be rather "poor" and seems to belong to the lowest economic series. (The remote control of my old 10-year-old Inventor, which was indeed the cheapest series, was much better in terms of quality).

Purchased (May 2023) for a professional space of 65 sq.m. and has only been tested for cooling so far. I will return in the winter for the heating part of the review. Here we go:

1. Installed easily as the company provides everything needed from the start. Both the internal and external units are large. Especially the internal unit requires great attention from the installers due to its weight.

2. Cooling performance. Not satisfied (permanently at 25) but it seems like it's not giving 100%. It seems to be underperforming (maybe it's just my feeling) but in other spaces where I have various air conditioners (15,000 BTU), I see different performance and feeling in the space. It seems like the air conditioner has better performance whether we're talking about a 9,000 BTU in a room (20 sq.m) or an 18,000 BTU in a living room/kitchen (45 sq.m) and a 12,000 BTU in another professional space (40 sq.m) (all set at 25 degrees).

3. The remote control needs a relatively close distance to catch and operate, which has bothered me somewhat as it doesn't have a long range. I believe I will solve this problem once I install the application on my phone to control it from there.

4. Plastics. I must say that so far no plastic is cracking, but we are talking about a new air conditioner. For some strange reason, the plastics do not fit well together. (I will upload photos soon). I see in other people who have uploaded photos of their air conditioners that they are excellent, but mine has gaps between the plastics and the locking doesn't make the right sound that it should to be correct. It seems like the plastics have been eaten from the inside during production in the factory and that's why they don't fit well. (I imagine that the fact that many people here mention that this series from Midea is fake is playing a role, hence the various problems mentioned, due to the low quality of the plastics).

5. Functions. Everything one needs in their air conditioner in 2023 with all the provided technology supported.

6. Regarding its price, which is considered quite high compared to the competition, I have to say that it provides functional advantages, but it loses in construction quality, which we need to see over time how much it will withstand. I will return in the future to see about consumption.

Update: I still have complaints about performance. I have both a 12,000 BTU and a 24,000 BTU. They definitely do not deliver the BTUs they claim, unfortunately. I am changing my review to 1 star. Truly, for their cost, they are a disappointment

I will start by saying that the choice was made due to its low power consumption in the refrigerator, it is quite economical compared to the most economical ones available regardless of the company, and of course the 10-year warranty is sufficient. Starting from the construction, it looks quality and its plastics are fine, especially the outdoor unit is excellent (18,000 btu). As another user mentioned, it is a fake of the midea all easy pro, but this one has the 10-year warranty (read the conditions for warranty compliance). In the few tests I have done so far (not needed due to weather conditions), the indoor unit is very powerful, without any noise in operation and in plastics, and immediate response to everything. The outdoor unit is not exactly quiet at times (I mean in its operation purely, not something strange or annoying that can be heard inside the house, I clarify this), of course because I haven't used it for many hours, at the beginning air conditioners always work more and then more quietly, maybe this will give me a better opinion by the end of the summer when I will return to the evaluation. In general, this air conditioner has many features that are difficult to find all together in this price range, definitely value for money. A pleasant surprise was the application and response with the air conditioner, it is very good without any crashes and many possibilities, it is excellent, everything works perfectly (read the instructions for connection so you don't struggle unnecessarily, it's easy). Pay great attention during installation to be done correctly as specified by the manufacturer to avoid problems. Anything else, I will return. Update July 5th: I remove one star due to the outdoor unit, as I mentioned, it is noisy at times during its operation. Update July 16th: It works fine in hot weather, it is very powerful in cooling and the follow me function works extremely well. Update for summer 2024: It is true that it worked fine during this year's heatwave. Some tips to achieve the best result in comfort and economy: Although each space is different and has different needs, it is good if you can add an energy meter to better control consumption. If it is, for example, 35-40 outside and you set it to 25, it will not be the most economical, set it to 28, no need to force it, although as I said, it depends on each space. Miracles do not exist in consumption. By placing a meter, you will have better control for economy and comfort. In my case, I have seen it fluctuate from under 200w up to 600-700w in 35-40 temperature setting at 26.5. In general, with the right settings, it is economical and pleasantly cooling

Awesome air conditioner! One of the most affordable on the market based on price! (I am also the owner of a 12,000 BTU comfort model: 2021) I bought this one in August 2022. So far, it works flawlessly in a 58 sqm house built in 2003. Model: 2022.

Positives: It has been tested both for heating and cooling! It is quite silent, both the indoor and outdoor unit! It quickly reaches the desired temperature of 21 degrees for heating and doesn't struggle even with negative temperatures outside! Similarly for cooling! P.S. "It can cover more space than it promises." Its plastic parts do not have any cracks like the comfort model, which had bothered me a lot! Furthermore, the atmosphere in the room has changed (allergies, etc.) and the dust I used to notice on the furniture has decreased. Additionally, the follow function, the "quite large" HEPA filter, and the easy-to-use WiFi connection with mobile are quite useful! Lastly: (compared to the comfort model, it consumes much less electricity).

P.S. Most people recommend in stores: izuru, comfort, Corona... which burn more and have cheaper plastic, which is why they creak quite loudly for several minutes during and after use. (Because I am the owner of both and I have researched it thoroughly (forums/owners/cooling experts, etc.). It is the best/newest among the ones I mentioned above!!

Negatives: The remote control is very basic with only the basic functions... while the comfort model is much more user-friendly and seems smarter.

The air conditioner is amazing, I have used it so far for heating, the warm air it produces feels like sitting in front of a hairdryer at high temperature. The air flow intensity, although I was afraid it would be insufficient before buying it, reading the specifications compared to the inventor comfort, it really scares you with its intensity, especially in turbo mode, it leaves you speechless... The application is quite good, you can create scenarios according to room or external temperature conditions, for example, and start the air conditioner on its own... or create a weekly program for when it should turn on and off, ideal for waking up in the morning, I have set it to turn on 15 minutes before we wake up and the house is already warm when the alarms go off. I had difficulty connecting to the Wi-Fi, do exactly what the manual says, but it should be done quickly in 2-3 minutes... I haven't figured out yet if in dry mode you can adjust the humidity level or not because the manual contradicts itself and the application always shows 30% humidity... we'll see. Something I would recommend is to use the follow me function at least in heating mode because the temperature on the ceiling that the air conditioner reads may be 30 degrees and it may stop working or reduce the power while where you are sitting it is 21 degrees, so it doesn't satisfy you... the filter located on the top side of the air conditioner is also nice, but it is very user-friendly because it attaches with magnetic fasteners, those are the few things I had to say... very satisfied so far.
Update 30/7 and it works perfectly in cooling mode as well. The eco functions basically adjust the temperature 1-2 degrees higher than what you have set, it lowers the fan speed and doesn't allow the air conditioner to work at full power. Personally, I use the eco mode but manually adjust the fan intensity.

Initially, I am writing this review for the benefit of any potential buyer who has questions about this particular product. After extensive research and study on air conditioner purchases, I ended up with this one, mainly because of its 10-year warranty. Initially, I wanted to get the Midea All Easy Pro 24000btu because I have a similar 12000btu one and I am very satisfied with it. In the end, I settled for the INVENTOR. The air conditioner is literally a BEAST. It was installed in a 40 square meter living room and it covers it perfectly, and the positive thing is that it also reaches the adjacent rooms. It doesn't make any noise at all. It is completely silent in cooling mode. It has so many functions that one may never even use them. It hasn't been tested in heating mode yet. It is worth its money. Just be careful because of its large unit, both indoor and outdoor, measure first to avoid any unexpected issues. It is a serious investment. I will come back with a comment as soon as I try the heating!
