When a stray black cat named Kuro crosses the path of high school freshman Mahiru Shirota, his life will never be the same again. Kuro is not an ordinary cat, but a servamp: a vampire servant. While Mahiru's personal philosophy is one of non-interference, he soon becomes embroiled in an ancient, utterly surreal conflict between vampires and humans.
