The deodorized Palm Oil has a white color, unlike the unrefined one which has an orange to red color (Red Palm Oil).

In cosmetics, Palm Oil is used similarly to coconut oil for the production of soap and body creams. The palm fat melts at body temperature (melting point 35-40°C) creating a cool sensation on the skin.
