In 1830, Charles Tanqueray created the well-known Tanqueray London Dry Gin after several experiments. It is a gin with only 4 botanicals, one of which is juniper, which seems to play a crucial role in its aroma and taste. Simple yet complex with extra crispness and dryness on the palate. The aftertaste is long and full of spices. Ideally served neat, on the rocks, with tonic or soda, and of course as a base in many imaginative and classic cocktails.
