The Special Operations forces, a mysterious group known only as "Ghosts," lead the battle against an emerging, technologically superior, global power.

The new dynamic maps are the evolution of multiplayer. They include interactive elements and events that are activated by players, causing the environment to evolve as each game continues. The entire landscape can change and force players to change tactics and strategies.

A brand new Call of Duty Universe: For the first time in franchise history, players will take on the role of the outsider with Call of Duty: Ghosts. Players will meet a completely new cast of characters and visit local places in a changed world, unlike anything seen in previous Call of Duty games.
