Bonding all types of wood. Meets the specifications of strength class D4 according to DIN EN 204, as well as the specifications of DIN EN14257 (WATT91).
High resistance to heat and water
- Tested D4 quality according to DIN EN 204
- Meets the specifications of DIN EN 14257 (WATT91).
Easy to use
- No mixing with hardener required.
Transparent curing
- The bonding joints are not visible.
- The dried glue joints are flexible.
Due to the different composition of the substances contained in the wood, unforeseen discoloration may occur in individual cases, e.g., in beech and cherry wood. Additionally, iron in combination with the tannic acid present in the wood may cause color changes in oak wood. Processing time and curing time are heavily influenced by working conditions (e.g., temperature). In outdoor applications, the bonded part must be protected from weather conditions and appropriate surface protection should be provided for this purpose (permanent protection against moisture penetration).
Due to the thermoplastic properties of the glue, it should be ensured that it is not exposed directly to sunlight. For applications where there is direct exposure to sunlight, non-thermoplastic adhesives and PUR glue in a metering system are suitable. The softening of the glue and shrinkage of the wood may cause the joints to open. The viscosity of the 1-component D4 glue increases during storage. However, the processing parameters do not change even if this occurs. The glue regains its fluidity with stirring without the addition of water. Do not add water to the glue! Glue residues escaping from the joint must be removed as they may cause red spots due to reaction with oxygen.
