    After 4 months of use, the previously silent washing machine started making a loud noise. The Bosch technician insisted that it had always been like that. He didn't care and said that it's the water pump and there's no point in changing it. Since then, it makes an even louder noise with every wash. I simply don't wash at night anymore to save on electricity because the sound wakes us up. Unacceptable service, a waste of the money I spent.

    The Bosch Washing Machine - Dryer is an excellent product that you know what to expect from! It is high-quality and expensive compared to other well-known brands, but you know that it will rarely let you down. In the positives: It washes clothes very well, leaving them smelling fresh. It has interior lighting inside the drum, has WiFi, and can be connected and controlled from a mobile phone. It has many programs. It has programs that finish in 15', 45', and 60'. The Eco program lasts for 4 hours. Also, the clothes come out fluffy and dry in the drying option, and most importantly, I don't see any lint anywhere so far! Very important. It has a program for washing and drying in 60', but it is for a few clothes. The regular program lasts about 3 hours. Overall, it is quiet and feels like a high-quality device! In the negatives: While it advertises that it weighs the clothes and suggests the ideal weight for the program, it does not show you the weight of the clothes when you put them in the drum. Another negative is that for safety reasons, when the door opens, the connection with the mobile phone is lost, and the door must be closed again and the button on the device must be pressed again to reconnect with the mobile phone. Definitely, for those who can afford to buy this particular device, I would recommend it without hesitation!

    Review update Dec. 2025. It developed an electronic fault, we've had it since Feb. 2023 and we do 7-8 washes/week. When you pay €1,000 for Bosch you expect something better....
    The first technician who came (€35) said as soon as he saw it that he wouldn't even touch it because in another case with a similar fault they changed boards and struggled without fixing it. He advised me not to buy a washer-dryer again. The second technician (Bosch €60) couldn't figure out what was wrong at the first appointment because it was working when he came and all the checks he did found nothing. The machine works sometimes and sometimes not, typical for electronic faults. After several communications and changing the main board at home, which didn't solve the problem, the machine went to the BSH workshop where they also changed the dryer board and the issue was resolved. The two boards together with the repair and transport of the machine cost €480. If we add the technicians' visits (€100) and the money we spent washing outside for 1 month, we could have bought a new one. However, we wanted to keep it because it also has the dryer (I won't buy a 2-in-1 again). Anyway, from talking to many users and technicians I found that all similar devices have the same issues so I keep the 4/5 (7/10).

    * Indeed, there is no lint left after drying (very little).
    * The programs generally have a long duration (longer than our previous +12-year-old BOSCH device), but there is a "Speed" option that reduces washing time to "normal" with increased power consumption and reduced washing capacity. The programs (I assume also for competing devices) are not fully presented and you don't know the details before you buy a device. For example, the 10kg program takes 4 hours to complete (wash only) and if "Speed" is selected 1.5 hours, but for 5kg of clothes!
    * We were negatively impressed that there is no indicator for automatic weighing... the device weighs the clothes and adjusts the program, but the user doesn't know how many kilos have been loaded or if the maximum load for each program has been exceeded.
    * Twice in wash & dry program the drying lasted longer than the initial indication. The weight of the clothes was suitable for the program.
    * In drying, if different clothes are washed together, e.g. sheets, clothes, towels, not all dry equally well, which is logical, just mentioning it.
    * We tried Iron assist once. One shirt improved in appearance, the other got worse...
    * As for the noise, I expected it to be more "silent".
    * To remove the screws from the transport brackets you need a T20 screwdriver.

    Finally, to other interested parties: most of the time, device comparisons on merchants' websites have errors; for this device compared to the corresponding LG, AEG, and Electrolux, I assume it is a general phenomenon. Full specifications should be sought from manufacturers/representatives for reliable comparison.

    After 4 months of use, the previously silent washing machine started making a loud noise. The Bosch technician insisted that it had always been like that. He didn't care and said that it's the water pump and there's no point in changing it. Since then, it makes an even louder noise with every wash. I simply don't wash at night anymore to save on electricity because the sound wakes us up. Unacceptable service, a waste of the money I spent.

    The Bosch Washing Machine - Dryer is an excellent product that you know what to expect from! It is high-quality and expensive compared to other well-known brands, but you know that it will rarely let you down. In the positives: It washes clothes very well, leaving them smelling fresh. It has interior lighting inside the drum, has WiFi, and can be connected and controlled from a mobile phone. It has many programs. It has programs that finish in 15', 45', and 60'. The Eco program lasts for 4 hours. Also, the clothes come out fluffy and dry in the drying option, and most importantly, I don't see any lint anywhere so far! Very important. It has a program for washing and drying in 60', but it is for a few clothes. The regular program lasts about 3 hours. Overall, it is quiet and feels like a high-quality device! In the negatives: While it advertises that it weighs the clothes and suggests the ideal weight for the program, it does not show you the weight of the clothes when you put them in the drum. Another negative is that for safety reasons, when the door opens, the connection with the mobile phone is lost, and the door must be closed again and the button on the device must be pressed again to reconnect with the mobile phone. Definitely, for those who can afford to buy this particular device, I would recommend it without hesitation!

    Review update Dec. 2025. It developed an electronic fault, we've had it since Feb. 2023 and we do 7-8 washes/week. When you pay €1,000 for Bosch you expect something better....
    The first technician who came (€35) said as soon as he saw it that he wouldn't even touch it because in another case with a similar fault they changed boards and struggled without fixing it. He advised me not to buy a washer-dryer again. The second technician (Bosch €60) couldn't figure out what was wrong at the first appointment because it was working when he came and all the checks he did found nothing. The machine works sometimes and sometimes not, typical for electronic faults. After several communications and changing the main board at home, which didn't solve the problem, the machine went to the BSH workshop where they also changed the dryer board and the issue was resolved. The two boards together with the repair and transport of the machine cost €480. If we add the technicians' visits (€100) and the money we spent washing outside for 1 month, we could have bought a new one. However, we wanted to keep it because it also has the dryer (I won't buy a 2-in-1 again). Anyway, from talking to many users and technicians I found that all similar devices have the same issues so I keep the 4/5 (7/10).

    * The programs generally have a long duration (longer than our previous +12-year-old BOSCH device), but there is a "Speed" option that reduces washing time to "normal" with increased power consumption and reduced washing capacity. The programs (I assume also for competing devices) are not fully presented and you don't know the details before you buy a device. For example, the 10kg program takes 4 hours to complete (wash only) and if "Speed" is selected 1.5 hours, but for 5kg of clothes!
    * We were negatively impressed that there is no indicator for automatic weighing... the device weighs the clothes and adjusts the program, but the user doesn't know how many kilos have been loaded or if the maximum load for each program has been exceeded.
    * Twice in wash & dry program the drying lasted longer than the initial indication. The weight of the clothes was suitable for the program.
    * In drying, if different clothes are washed together, e.g. sheets, clothes, towels, not all dry equally well, which is logical, just mentioning it.
    * We tried Iron assist once. One shirt improved in appearance, the other got worse...
    * As for the noise, I expected it to be more "silent".
    * To remove the screws from the transport brackets you need a T20 screwdriver.

    Finally, to other interested parties: most of the time, device comparisons on merchants' websites have errors; for this device compared to the corresponding LG, AEG, and Electrolux, I assume it is a general phenomenon. Full specifications should be sought from manufacturers/representatives for reliable comparison.
