It takes around 6 minutes. But I can't recommend this sandwich maker. I bought it as a replacement for my Tefal. But it was very cheap in construction, and takes a long time to toast the bread, sometimes 10 minutes. and is very difficult to clean if the cheese melts. Buy a Tefal as they are much better.
