It takes you high – and right to the winner's podium – as the most responsive, lightest, and simultaneously fastest model in the DYNAFIT collection. In Sky Running, everything is demanded from an athlete. On demanding off-road terrains, not only speed, endurance, and a high pain threshold are required, but also excellent coordination and responsiveness. The Sky DNA offers an ideal ground feel with its precise fit and minimal drop, allowing you to achieve new best times. At 239 grams with a unique midsole made of Pebax foam, the SKY DNA helps athletic, ambitious mountain runners fully exploit their potential. For better grip on any surface and in all conditions, the developers turned to the proven Vibram® Litebase Megagrip outsole, which in trail running and competitive sports is considered the standard by which all high performances are measured. The new Sky running shoe forgoes the classic tread and instead incorporates a minimal drop of 4 mm for direct ground contact and perfect feel. 

One of the main features of the shoe is the new high-performance Pebax® foam midsole. The material, which originates from the highly technical category for ski boots, combines durability and flexibility. It also ensures maximum energy return, allowing runners to fully utilize the power and speed in their legs. At the same time, its weight has been reduced by 30% compared to that of a regular EVA midsole. With the Double Speed quick lace system, you can precisely customize the shoe for a secure and accurate fit to the shape of your foot. The smart lacing system optimally distributes pressure across the entire foot, preventing pressure points during a run. In the toe box, the shoe offers more space to guarantee ideal stability and control on fast descents.

EVA

EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate) an elastic co-polymer very similar to rubber and also used in household and industrial applications. EVA is considered environmentalyly friendly in that it doesn’t use chlorine in its production, and can be recycled into products such as playgrounds or industrial mats.EVA provides cushion, spring (rebound), and is resistant to hardening and cracking. It also resists UV radiation, doesn’t absorb water, and stays flexible in the cold, all of which make it very useful for outdoor footwear. Soft and flexible, EVA is technically a foam instead of a rubber, as it is formed by expanding plastic and trapping pockets of gas (air) in various densities. An EVA midsole not only provides rebound and cushion, but it protects the feet from impact as each foot strikes the ground. The rebound in EVA helps you spring off of each stride.
