ATTENTION!!! Requires the TP-Link HUB H100 to use its features.

Positives:
1. With the TAPO app, it has endless programming and automation capabilities, either with other sensors or through cameras that use TAPO.
2. I have not noticed even 1 disconnection in the past 3 months. Even after long power outages, everything comes back automatically.
3. The 2xAAA batteries it uses and are included need to be changed every 2 years (tested at the entrance of an apartment building).

Negatives:
1. From afar, the switch looks nice but up close you can see that the plastic cover of the switch is cheap.
2. To install it, either make sure the wall box has two holes left/right, or if it doesn't and is older, you need to buy a fitting (adapter) that wedges into the existing one and provides the 2 holes for its mounting screws (I found one at Meidanis store).
3. The switch travel, until it reaches the button, is long and takes some getting used to. Until you get used to it, you'll press it several times for it to work.

Very good product, visually simple and beautiful! Good construction although, regarding its construction, I will be able to say it more accurately after a few years of regular use.

I will move on to what I would like to be somewhat different as, everything else is as it should be for what it is as a product.

1. Yes, it is indeed frameless - borderless but it also has quite a large surface overall, which is good because you can easily find it with your hand even without looking at it, but it also requires quite a bit of free space on the wall, at the point where it will be placed. This is a little issue in older buildings as, the positions for the switches in cases where there is more than one together (side by side, vertically or horizontally) are usually very close in distances between them, resulting in a serious possibility that the base of the Tapo will touch the frame of another adjacent switch (even a simple one, not necessarily Tapo as well).
So measure carefully beforehand, the exact dimensions that apply (in millimeters) in your case, in relation to those of the Tapo (with reference based on its manufacturer) so that you do not find yourself facing unpleasant surprises at the last moment. For example, I found myself at the limit and fortunately it was in a part of the house where this small imperfection in its placement (which occurred with a slight deviation at the bottom from the wall surface) did not disturb visually too much.

2. Nice as the Tapo is so minimal in appearance but perhaps not so nice for everyone. They are excessively plain. And I mean that they do not come in any alternative variation, even a small one, not even color-wise. I believe it would be simple, for example, to have them produced at least in other colors or at least to provide additional (good quality) adhesive surfaces that would easily give a different character to each switch, according to the owner's tastes. It is not the same simple to try to do something similar on your own (with your own means).

3. It would be useful if they had at some clear point (on each switch), at least a small - discreet LED that would indicate on one hand the position of the switch in the space (when it is dark around it), and on the other hand the status of the lighting that they control (light off or not). It wouldn't be that terrible either as a construction or as an additional cost while it would provide great help as needed. Unfortunately, it does not have this.

4. Its installation on the wall is very simple, in the case that the Tapo is expected to be placed in a wall box that has provisions for this type of switch bases, which snap in with screws (onto the wall box) and not with hooks (as the Tapo does NOT have provisions for hooks). If you are unfortunate enough not to have such a box on the wall (which is very likely for many people, especially in somewhat older buildings), the situation gets complicated from somewhat to very much. Various workarounds are suggested but they are not feasible in every case (even with some concessions like placing the Tapo in a horizontal arrangement).
For me, for example, I could not even make holes in the wall as the positions (on the base of the Tapo) for the holes also fell within the empty space of the round box behind (thus not on the wall). I solved the issue by using an additional round box that I installed recessed into the old round box of the wall. The additional box is very cheap, you can find it in classic electrical equipment stores and it is specially sized to fit snugly there, thus creating a somewhat smaller wall box hole (this usually helps for old round wall boxes for sockets so they don't easily pop out but it also works for switches). Another advantage it offers is that it provides little holes on its side for screws that fall where they need to be so that one can screw their Tapo there nicely, securely, and without weird adjustments with holes, etc. However, even so, the Tapo is still not considered to be very straightforward in its installation for all of us.

Personally, I would prefer the Tapo switches to NOT have any protrusion at all, to be simply flat, with a "mechanical" click again when pressed (as they do now) during their pressing (not just touch so that it gives the feeling in the hand that something was pressed) but not only in the part that protrudes since this is ALWAYS at the bottom (due to their permanent protrusion). The result of this is that the active surface of the switch is essentially reduced and it only functions as a switch if you press it at its bottom... always... which is somewhat strange to use, and on the other hand, the large size is essentially wasted (since the upper half never responds to a press).

I don't know, but personally, I find them a bit overpriced for what they are overall. I'm not saying they're not nice and they work correctly, but I still consider them somewhat overpriced in cost.

Nevertheless... I recommend them for purchase for various reasons, mainly from the perspective that they belong to the very reliable family of Tapo smart devices and thus provide users with a lot of convenience in many situations and cases.
