Description

Turning the Page on Single-Use Plastic

Its exterior is made with over 85% recycled plastic, including 10% ocean-bound plastic - abandoned plastic waste that is on its way to our oceans. Within a year, Kobo aims to divert over 200,000 plastic bottles from our planet's oceans and over one million CDs and DVDs from landfills.

Together even in the bathroom

The Kobo Clara 2E is fully waterproof*. This means it is always ready for unexpected water spills or a relaxing bath in the tub.
*Meets the requirements of the IPX8 category. Waterproof for up to 60 minutes in water up to 2 meters deep.

From your morning reading to midnight

The Kobo Clara 2E features a 6" HD E Ink Carta 1200 touchscreen with ComfortLight PRO for adjusting brightness and color temperature. The reduction of blue light reduces eye strain, allowing you to read your story for longer. With the latest E Ink technology, enjoy faster page turns and deeper contrast, as well as the option of Dark Mode, another way to reduce eye strain.

Bring your entire library, anywhere

With 16GB of storage, the Kobo Clara 2E allows you to carry up to 12,000 e-books with you wherever you go. Don't miss a single chapter with the long battery life.

A world of content in your hands

With Kobo, you can always find something new to read. With the built-in Kobo Store, discover new eBooks and audiobooks directly on your eReader. The Kobo Clara 2E also features built-in Pocket integration, so you can save and read online articles.

I've had it for two years and I was completely satisfied. Suddenly it froze, it wouldn't respond... okay, I mourned it. I pressed to turn it on, nothing. It was stuck there. After a while, it showed the image I uploaded and stayed stuck there. After a while, the screen turned white and for a long time it alternated between white and the image with the dots. Eventually, it decided on its own to do a hard reset and erased all my books. Then I googled it and saw that it has happened to others too. Thank you very much Kobo, you really did us a favor.

It is the only e-book reader I have used. It supports multiple file types. It is easy to use. It is lightweight but worth putting a case on when you want to take it with you.

For someone who wants to use it for simple reading of literary books, I consider it a must-have. I haven't tried it with articles or reading books in English. I have only downloaded Greek books. However, it is very helpful that if you don't know a word in English, it has a dictionary.

I would say it is a bit expensive, but if you are bookworms, it is worth it as e-books are more economical, but you can also find and download some books for free from various sites and transfer them to the e-book reader

It is my 1st ereader so I have no point of comparison. I am very satisfied. Good construction quality from recycled materials. Waterproof (I haven't tested it), lightweight. Nice features with the lighting, so you can read day or night without straining your eyes. Very compact, fits even in a pocket due to its small size, which I find useful. It is an opportunity to carry it and read everywhere. For me, the screen is the ideal size. The battery lasts incredibly long.

I have no opinion from other stores, but the kobo store is fine. I have found nice free books. Usually classics, like Moby Dick, The Call of the Wild, etc. Many times they send me emails with discount codes, and I have bought books with 20, 30, 50% off. I usually buy them from my phone, which is faster, and they automatically sync to the ereader. I don't download books from elsewhere and I haven't tried Greek.
