Unacceptable for a company like Sony, on the one hand not to lower the prices of the controllers and on the other hand for them to start drifting so quickly and the battery power to drop after a few months; mine is in the second case, and I bought it exactly because the first controller that came with the console started not even lasting two hours after a full charge.

Although most of us are used to the classic white, Sony's light blue color is truly impressive. It gives a fresh and modern feel that immediately stands out in the room.
Beyond the excellent build quality and immediate response, its aesthetics make it look more like a decorative accessory than a simple remote control. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants something different and beautiful!

After a LOT of use, I have complaints that my microphone cuts out when I speak. Sometimes, if I disconnect and reconnect it, it will fix. Other times, only if I use another controller. Other than that, battery and button response are PERFECT!

I will just say that it is simply beautiful! It cost me 40 euros to do it! It took me a year and not even that... the classic issue

Can’t go wrong with an official PS controller - Got this for my partner as she’s a gamer and she’s well happy.

I will say that it is TOP and much superior to all the others.
But I have an issue and it's not only with this one but also with the white one that came with my console. The X button, which is also the one that gets used the most, after a while loses the 'click' feel, it becomes very soft and you can't tell if it was pressed properly, it doesn't have good feedback, meaning it works fine but the feeling is bad. The white one took longer for this to happen, but this one had the issue in 2 weeks...
Unacceptable for a €70 controller

Fourth joystick in 2 years, and still drifting. At some point something needs to be done legally with these guys because this can't go on.

It works perfectly until it gets stick drift, and of course it happens right after the warranty ends.

What other buyers have written is true, the triggers have an issue, the silicone-plastic coating on the analog sticks wears out very quickly. It's not worth the money

One of the most beautiful controllers someone can own. For us who are a bit older, it brings back nostalgic memories from the PS1 era. Essential for every collection!

After many years of owning a PS5 and DualSense (I was lucky and got it 2-3 months after launch at MSRP!), as I mentioned in my PS5 review, they are much better than the PS4, with the additional features being quite impressive (although there aren't many games that take full advantage of them, e.g. AstroBot), so since they are also super durable (so many years of use and they don't have the slightest sign of wear), I would give them 5 stars, BUT:

drift is unfortunately inevitable and extremely annoying, not to mention that you can't do anything but repair it (so €30 to €70 per stick). The problem is inherently a manufacturing issue, since the potentiometers have an expiration date (about 6-7 months of use), but Sony doesn't seem to want to fix it (probably due to cost), so we are forced to rebuild them every year. I have repaired both DS I own, left and right sticks, so keep in mind that sooner or later, it will happen to every DS.

I have the whole series in pearl color, they are sturdier than the previous ones, and in fact because I was given another one I put it up for sale because there isn't enough space for so many boxes, buy them without worry. I've had them for almost a year and they don't have the slightest issue.

2 stars purely for the technology they have implemented with the resistance in the triggers, which gives a very nice feeling in the games that support it.
Beyond that:
A) After 1 year and a few days, it developed a drift problem. Sony's response is that they do not cover it, even though according to European law the warranty is valid for 2 years on all products.
B) The battery is simply terrible. I miss the Xbox controllers where I could just throw in 2 batteries and they would last me for whole weeks or even a month.

I bought the PS5 Pro in October as soon as it was released. Stick drifting after two months. I buy a second one and drifting after three months... Look over there at Sony and replace this awful technology

the back triggers did not return to their position immediately after pressing, the analogs are very stiff and creak. I don't know if it was just my experience or if the quality of the V1 joystick is generally bad.

The base of the left lower wing broke internally... without falling or being hit... The replacement for this version controller base (bdm 030 or 040) is the entire controller frame (includes the bases on the right and left) and costs €45 without shipping... so I keep it for spare parts.

I was one of the lucky ones who found the GoW version, at stock price (70). I've had it for 2 years I think, it's amazing, the colors are wonderful, the battery doesn't last as long for me, but I only use it wirelessly on the PC, it gives me 7-8 hours without vibration while the dualshock gave 12-13 etc., I wish it had perfect wireless support but we live in a world. Its speaker is incredible (I've only heard it in formula) it's quite a bit larger than the dualshock, and some of my friends say it's uncomfortable for them, I find it very convenient, especially in games like rocket league it's incredibly responsive, after several hours with it, I realize that the dualshock has quite a bit more delay, still the vibration and the adaptive triggers are something else, especially in ps games imports like FFVII Rebirth, it has native wireless support with all its features, and it's something else

I would really like to love it and give it 5 stars as a PlayStation fan, but it has some things that I find annoying. It doesn't have as good connectivity with the computer as an Xbox controller. The plastics creak as you move the joystick (I consider this unacceptable). Also, when the vibration is on, it sounds like it's broken. Overall, it's not as sturdy as I would like.

Other than that, it's excellent. Its haptics and triggers, in games designed with this controller in mind, are delightful.

At the same price as the regular dual sense, it is an excellent purchase choice for Astro bot fans.
