The publication "Mycenae Was Not Everything. Campanellian Anthologies" collects ten texts (articles and studies) that were written on different occasions but responded to the same research interest: the approach to largely unseen aspects of Campanelli's dramaturgy.
All the texts were composed and published while Campanellis was alive. Iakovos Campanellis was the deepest connoisseur of the unofficial history of modern Greek theater, that which lies behind the lines of books and testimonies.
He was a very great writer in a country with limited linguistic and, at times, political reach. He never complained about the state indifference towards his works. But that was his character: not to ask for, but to give.
He asked for nothing, but gave everything and always with a warm smile and a sweet gaze that immediately won you over.
