The Pro-Ject X2 B is a high-performance turntable that combines mass, rigidity, and True Balanced technology. With a heavy MDF chassis (2kg), a 9-inch Carbon-Aluminium tonearm, and the excellent 2kg acrylic platter, it ensures absolute stability and zero resonance. The addition of the Mini XLR output and the pre-installed moving coil cartridge Ortofon Quintet Red make it ready for a fully balanced audio path with incredible detail and depth.

  • True Balanced Connection: Thanks to the Mini XLR output, the turntable can send the MC cartridge signal to a compatible balanced phono stage, canceling out any noise picked up from the environment, offering a cleaner “black” background to the music.

    The 4 stars because I believe that the power supply it comes with increases the wow & flutter quite a bit. I replaced it with the PRO-JECT High Power it 2, which also eliminated the "hiss" that could be heard when you turned up the amplifier's potentiometer. Otherwise, excellent sound
