The Walther Modified Survival Machete is based on a design from the '50s/'60s for a special forces unit and has been adapted in several ways to make it more suitable as a versatile survival knife. The heart of the solid MSM is a full blade made of hardened 1065 carbon steel with a powder coating. The various zones of the blade allow it to handle a large number of different tasks. Its weight is concentrated towards the tip to make it particularly effective for cutting and chopping. The secondary edge is useful for a wide range of other activities, such as digging. For tasks involving hard materials, there is a saw with sharp teeth. The ergonomically shaped G10 handle ensures a secure grip. There is also a practical impact point and a lanyard hole. It comes with a gordura sheath.
