All reels in the Warfare series feature a lightweight graphite frame and aluminum side plates for added rigidity. The frame is made of reinforced graphite, with a brass spool and main gear, while the stainless steel main shaft classifies the Warfare as a high-quality reel.

Penn's unique HT-100 drag system features carbon fiber washers. Penn Warfare reels are equipped with 3 stainless steel bearings that support immediate anti-reverse.

The 20LW model is for right-handed users and comes with a line counter, considered ideal for fishing techniques such as Slow Jigging and Tai Rubber.
