Very nice multifunction machine! It has so many features!!!
Something I didn't know when I got it! I think this applies to all lasers in general though! You can't print without margins! If you want to print a poster, for example, and you put color in the background, it will leave a white margin all around!
Also, something else that applies to all lasers as far as I know, they are not suitable for photo printing! It prints color images just fine, but not for photos!
Regarding the connection... The connection is very easy for someone, but I was swearing for hours until I managed to connect it! It wouldn't show up at all, neither on my computer nor on my phone! I could only connect it with Direct connection (Wi-fi connection between the two devices)! Finally, with a simple router restart, the printer got a different IP and FINALLY my computer and my phone detected it! From then on, everything went very easily and quickly!!!!
Very rarely, when I go to print, it might give me a "connection failure" but with a router restart it comes back! (Something happens with the IP, but I haven't looked into it yet!)
So, you can't really rely on it if you want it for a business, for example, where you have a customer waiting for you to print an invoice!!! Unless, of course, you want connection only with a computer and there's the option for a wired connection, then everything is perfect!!!
Finally, another negative, I didn't find that it has the ability to send something by email to print (as many printers have, even much cheaper ones). From what little I searched on the internet, this feature used to exist but has now been discontinued!
This printer used to work with the Canon PRINT Business app! Now the app directs you to the regular Canon PRINT!
Πολύ ωραίο πολυμηχανημα! Έχει πάρα πολλές δυνατότητες!!!
Κάτι που δεν ήξερα όταν τον πήρα! Ισχύει γενικά για όλους τους laser όμως νομίζω! Δεν μπορείς να εκτυπώσεις χωρίς περιθώρια! Αν θέλεις να εκτυπώσεις μια αφίσα ας πούμε και βάλεις χρώμα στο φόντο, θα σου αφήσει ένα περιθώριο γύρω γύρω λευκό!
Επίσης κάτι ακόμα που ισχύει για όλους τους laser από όσο ξέρω, δεν είναι κατάλληλοι για εκτύπωση φωτογραφιών! Βγάζει έγχρωμες εικόνες μια χαρά, αλλά για φωτογραφίες δεν είναι!
Σχετικά με την σύνδεση... Η σύνδεση είναι πολύ εύκολη για κάποιον απλά εγώ έβριζα κάτι ώρες μέχρι να τον συνδέσω! Δεν φαινόταν με τίποτα ούτε στον υπολογιστή μου, ούτε στο κινητό μου! Μόνο με Direct σύνδεση μπορούσα να τον συνδέσω (Σύνδεση με Wi-fi μεταξύ των δύο συσκευών)! Τελικά με μια απλή επανεκκίνηση του ρούτερ, πήρε άλλη IP ο εκτυπωτής και τον εντόπισε ΕΠΙΤΕΛΟΥΣ και ο υπολογιστής μου και το κινητό μου! Από εκεί και πέρα όλα κύλησαν πολύ εύκολα και γρήγορα!!!!
Πολύ σπάνια όταν πάω να εκτυπώσω μπορεί να μου βγάλει καμία "αδυναμία σύνδεσης" αλλά με μια επανεκκίνηση του ρούτερ επανέρχεται! (Κάτι γίνεται με την IP δεν το έχω ψάξει ακόμα όμως!)
Δεν είναι δηλαδή και να βασιστείς πάνω του αν τον θέλεις για κάποια επιχείρηση ας πούμε που θα έχεις τον πελάτη και θα περιμένει να του εκτυπώσεις κάποιο τιμολόγιο!!! Εκτός βέβαια αν θέλεις σύνδεση μόνο με υπολογιστή και υπάρχει η δυνατότητα ενσύρματης σύνδεσης τότε όλα τέλεια!!!
Τέλος ένα ακόμα αρνητικό, δεν βρήκα να έχει την δυνατότητα να του στείλεις κάτι με mail για να το εκτυπώσει (όπως έχουν πολλοί εκτυπωτές και μάλιστα πολύ πιο οικονομικοί). Λίγο που το έψαξα στο ίντερνετ, πρέπει να υπήρχε αυτή η δυνατότητα αλλα πλέον έχει καταργηθεί!
Παλιά αυτός ο εκτυπωτής λειτουργούσε με την εφαρμογή Canon PRINT Business! Πλέον η εφαρμογή σε παραπέμπει στην απλή Canon PRINT!
