The Silberthal ceramic knife set features blades of exceptional quality for precise cutting. These knives belong to the High Performance series of Silberthal and have the highest possible technical specifications in their price category. The set includes:

  • 15 cm chef's knife
  • 13 cm Santoku knife with grooves
  • 7.5 cm peeling knife
  • 3 blade protectors, one for each knife

Ceramic knives have many advantages, they never need sharpening, and they do not leave a metallic taste on food. THEY are not suitable for bones and hard materials.

The blades of Silberthal meet quality criteria superior to conventional standards: Made from highly pure zirconium oxide. The dark black blade color is obtained through a tempering technology, unlike conventional ceramic blades that are made with paint mixtures. For better durability in use, the blades are up to 2 millimeters thick. The Santoku features grooves to prevent food from sticking, a characteristic not found in regular ceramic knives.

The handles are injected into the blade, not glued, which adds stability. They have a soft touch finish and are weighted with a metal weight at the tip for better balance while cutting.
