ICOM IC-M510E AIS VHF/DSC MARINE RADIO (AIS VERSION)

The new AIS version of the IC-M510E VHF/DSC offers users the ability to receive AIS information and monitor traffic around ships in real-time, while also being able to make individual DSC calls to selected vessels.

The RS-M500 app (for iOS/Android) allows remote management of the IC-M510E via WLAN. Up to three smartphones can be used as a wireless microphone or remote control in place of the COMMANDMIC. Intercom functionality between the smartphone and the radio station is also available.

With the built-in AIS receiver or with an external NMEA proposal (third-party AIS receiver, transmitter), the IC-M510E can display ship traffic information in real-time on the screen. It is possible to make an individual DSC call directly to selected AIS targets from the AIS screen.
