Say goodbye to defrosting your fridge-freezer

Forget the hassle of defrosting. NoFrost technology maintains a constant circulation of dry air throughout the fridge-freezer, thus preventing the accumulation of ice. You will never have to deal with defrosting again, nor will you risk seeing icicles forming again.

Fresh food, as much as you want!

The spacious VitaFresh XXL <0°C> storage and freshness system offers the ideal storage environment for fresh food. It maintains lower temperatures for fish and meat and keeps your fruits and vegetables truly fresh.

Upgrade your refrigerator's capacity

When you need a spacious refrigerator that doesn't take up much space in your kitchen, the ideal choice is high-capacity refrigerators. Slightly larger than the usual models, they allow you to place entire trays, large watermelons, and other bulky items. Thanks to their spacious interior, you can more easily manage your food and have excellent flexibility in storing them.

Place your refrigerator where it suits you best

Place your refrigerator wherever you want, without restrictions. Other common refrigerator models on the market need about 10 centimeters of distance from the wall to be able to open their doors and drawers. Thanks to the innovative Perfect Fit technology, Bosch freestanding fridge-freezers can be placed right next to walls and furniture without wasting a single millimeter of space. They need exactly 70cm width only, and the Bosch freestanding fridge-freezer will fit perfectly in its place.

The contents of your refrigerator, in the spotlight

LED lighting helps you clearly see everything inside your refrigerator. LED lights have a longer lifespan compared to conventional ones and illuminate the interior of the appliance with ample, bright, white light. Additionally, they are fully integrated and provide you with clean and uniform lighting, without glare, for all the food inside the refrigerator. Now nothing gets forgotten.

The freezer space you deserve!

You can easily remove all the safety glass shelves from the freezer compartment to create more space to store, for example, a multi-layer cake or a whole turkey. Large foods, such as a family-sized pizza, can be stacked on the glass surfaces without any problem.

Larger capacity for your frozen foods!

A deeper drawer for practical storage of frozen food packages or large items such as cakes. Whether you need to organize food for a children's birthday party or freeze a wedding cake - in the BigBox you will find enough space for large-sized frozen items.

Easily find your food!

When your refrigerator is full, it's hard to remember the food you've stored at the back. That's why the EasyAccess shelf was created, so you can see the inside of your refrigerator at a glance. Just pull it out for easy access to all your food. It is made of shatterproof glass and is extremely user-friendly, allowing you to quickly find the right ingredients for your next meal.

The two separate cooling circuits make it easier and save energy

The two separate cooling circuits allow you to independently control the refrigeration and freezing sections. With the user-friendly electronic controls, you can individually adjust their temperatures and avoid odor transfer.

Save energy when you're away

When the Holiday function is activated, the temperature in the refrigerator is set to +14°C and in the freezer to −18°C, thus protecting your frozen food and preventing energy waste from the refrigerator compartment.

Why choose it?

  • Total No Frost: Get rid of defrosting and humidity with dry air that prevents ice formation.
  • VitaFresh XXL <0°C>: Ideal conditions for preserving fresh food, such as meat, fish, and fruits.
  • LED Lighting: Ideal light for full visibility of the refrigerator's contents without blurring.
  • Removable Glass Shelves: Create extra space for large foods, such as cakes or turkeys.
  • BigBox: Space for frozen foods or large items.
  • EasyAccess Shelf: Easy access and visibility to food with the shatterproof glass shelf.

Users said:

  • Silent & Fast Cooling: Excellent cooling performance, with the refrigerator being silent and cooling food very quickly.
  • Comfortable Storage Space: Ideal for storing various foods (fruits, vegetables, cooked food, dairy), with plenty of shelves and special compartments for cold cuts and cheeses.
  • Large Capacity: Despite its large depth, good organization is needed to fully utilize the space without losing food behind others.
  • Safety: The refrigerator has an audible alert if the doors remain open for too long.

Reviews by our members

  • +Decent build quality for a refrigerator made in Turkey. Nothing like the Chinese LG models in roughly the same price range, namely the GBP/GBB 566, 567, 569 (take a close look at those first, feel their “glass” shelves and drawers and their water dispenser, and you’ll understand). Of course, with the Bosch, as with all refrigerators in this price range, only the door is clad in stainless steel. The rest of the refrigerator is simply painted gray.
+Spare parts available for 15 years. 15-year warranty on the motor (registration on mybosch is required to activate it).
+The height (186 cm) is just about okay for a person of average height. I’ve never understood the point of refrigerators over two meters tall (and then some!) in countries outside Scandinavia, since they give you useless space up high. Due to its great depth, though, shorter people will struggle to reach the very top shelf.
+It needs about 80 cm of width, so it’s ideal for making use of every last available centimeter in the miserably small Greek kitchens. However, if the door handle is going to hit a wall when the door is opened to 90 degrees, you’ll need an extra 5 cm of width. In theory, though, there is also a model without a door handle.
+Really huge fruit and vegetable drawer, both tall and deep, with a divider in the middle.
+The fruit and vegetable drawer pulls almost all the way out, which is very convenient. That’s why there is no bottle shelf at the bottom of the door. In contrast, East Asian manufacturers stack shelves at the bottom of the door, with the result that the opposite drawers can only be opened halfway.
+The two storage drawers (above the fruit/vegetable drawer) have a dual function: in the Cold setting, they are at the same temperature as the rest of the refrigerator compartment. In the Extra Cold setting, they “run” about 1–2 degrees colder, to keep cheese, deli meats, bread, meat, and fish fresh for longer. Convenient.
+The temperatures it reaches are relatively close to the desired values (measured in a half-full refrigerator with a laboratory-grade instrument), set to 4/-18: the refrigerator compartment is about 3–4 degrees (I expected the top shelf to be warmer, but it wasn’t), the storage drawer is about 1 degree on the Extra Cold setting, and the freezer is about -17 degrees. Logically, with a fuller refrigerator or a higher room temperature, the temperature in the refrigerator compartment will be a little higher.
+The door shelves can be placed at various heights, as can the two sturdy glass shelves in the refrigerator compartment.
+The SuperCooling and SuperFreezing functions (“Super”) are convenient, though naturally a little noisier. For a few hours, they lower the set temperature in the refrigerator/freezer compartment respectively (duration: 6 hours / 54 hours), so the food already inside won’t be affected when you put a lot of food in at once. Of course, you can cancel them whenever you like.
+The display never turns off completely, so you can see that the refrigerator is indeed working.
+The noise level is reasonable. You wouldn’t call it silent, but you wouldn’t expect it to be at this price and size, either.
+There are instructions (PDF) for some simple repairs. Beyond that, Bosch/Pitsos/Neff/Siemens products generally have good documentation, and anyone handy will certainly find even more detailed repair instructions, parts lists, etc. with a little searching.

A few downsides for this price range:
-The freezer isn’t small, but you wouldn’t call it large either (120 L). Whether it’s enough for you depends on how much you want to freeze. Lots of vegetables/legumes from the village, for example? It also doesn’t come with an ice tray (I can live without one).
-The shelf layout and the size and number of drawers may not suit everyone. For example, there are few bottle shelves on the door, but I think this is offset by the door’s great width (see the photo I uploaded). In any case, I recommend carefully looking at any available photos of the refrigerator fully loaded before deciding. Better still, inspect it in person, but since you probably won’t find it in a showroom, look at similar Pitsos/Neff/Siemens models: they come from the same factory and therefore have the same build quality and layout, although they are taller and a little narrower.
-One minor detail is that it doesn’t display the actual temperatures, though no refrigerator in this price range has that feature.

    SOME PRACTICAL TIPS
*You’ll have a hard time getting it into an elevator (without the packaging, of course). It does have wheels and its height is just about okay, but its width of 75 cm and depth of 80 cm (85 cm with the door handle) are very borderline. If you’re not sure it will fit in (and out!) of the elevator, arrange for a furniture lift in advance, at a cost of around €80–100.
*Before turning it on, remove all the Styrofoam and clear adhesive tapes.
*CAUTION: On the back of the refrigerator, at the bottom in the defrost-water collection area, there is a small transparent bag secured with a rubber band, which plugs the white tube that collects the defrost water (the water that drips from the refrigerator compartment). This bag is NOT mentioned in the instructions (which is a mistake). Remove it! Unfortunately, I can’t upload a relevant photo now.
*Adjust the screw on the front left foot so it compensates for any unevenness in the floor.
*After installation, Bosch recommends waiting 1 hour before plugging it in. It’s better to wait several hours longer.
*When you finally plug it in, the alarm will sound for quite a while, until the freezer reaches a somewhat decent temperature. Don’t worry. The sound can be switched off, though.
*You can load food from the first day if you turn on SuperCooling/SuperFreezing. In general, though, it takes time to reach the right temperature. If you want to measure it with a thermometer, wait about 2 days.
*As with all modern refrigerators, it’s a good idea to protect it against power surges. The best practice is to have an electrician install surge protection in your home’s electrical panel. Otherwise, a reputable surge-protected outlet suitable for the refrigerator’s current (10 amperes) will help the electronics last longer.

I have had the refrigerator for about 3 months and I am very satisfied. It keeps the cheeses and cold cuts perfectly in the special compartments and has a very large fruit and vegetable drawer. Due to its large depth, it has a great capacity but it requires attention to organization because if something is hidden in the back, it can stay there until you search for it... Very good performance and capacity. It doesn't let you keep it open for too long because it starts making a sound notification.

So far very satisfied. It is quiet, cools quickly, and the tap is very convenient, but not for many people (~2.5 liters of water). It has enough shelves for various things, cooked food, fruits, dairy products, etc
