The Zildjian Concept Shop FX Raw Crash Cymbal is the most raw and funky cymbal Zildjian has ever created. Each Raw Crash is crafted from Zildjian's secret alloy, without hammering and cutting, creating a sound and appearance that is unique. The raw surface offers an extremely irregular profile and different shapes that are not perfectly circular, with sizes up to 24" in diameter and a naturally rough finish.
These variations in profile, shape, size, and edge consistency create the wild individual sounds that make these cymbals so distinctive. Aesthetically, each Raw Crash features ridges, streaks, and swirls of different colors that develop over time.
Some Raw Crashes may have rolling marks, tool marks, and scratches, as well as chalk marks indicating the position of the cup and the furnace number, all of which are purely visual characteristics that do not affect their sound or long-term use.
