Profine BIG 6.0 replacement filter, with a diameter of 87.4mm, from the Italian company ThinkWater. The Profine ® Violet allows for the reduction of temporary hardness in drinking water while maintaining a stable pH. Multi-stage filter with Profine® Carbon Block with added silver ions.

General characteristics:

  • Single-use filter for the removal of temporary hardness in water.
  • Filtration stage of 0.5 microns using Profine Carbon Block technology with added silver ions.
  • Improves water quality by removing hardness originating from carbon.
  • Enhances the taste of coffee & achieves an ideal creamy color and body consistency.

Usage:

  • Ideal for use in automatic beverage dispensers, coffee machines, steam ovens, or combi ovens.
  • The filter should only be supplied with cold drinking water.

Activation:

The activation process of water filters includes an initial activation phase known as Conditioning. Conditioning is the initial rinsing process of the filter to bring it to the ideal state for operation.

Replacement:

It is recommended to replace the cartridge at the end of its productivity or if the output flow is very slow. Rinsing the cartridge is deemed necessary after short periods of inactivity, while during extended periods of inactivity, disinfection of the system is required.
