V-TAC Current Sensor CT 11506
The Current Sensor CT 11506 is an essential device for the proper functioning of a photovoltaic system. It is necessary for the protection and measurement of alternating current in the electrical circuit up to 200A. Thanks to the isolation of the current detection circuit from the power supply circuit, it prevents short circuits and ensures the safety of the operator.
The signal generated by the CT activates protection devices in case of overload or faults in the electrical system. The ring is placed on the phase (L) connected between the inverter and the grid, in order to detect the alternating current produced by the photovoltaic system. In a three-phase electrical system, 3 CTs will be required, one for each phase.
The generated signal is transmitted via 2 signal wires for connection to the photovoltaic inverter at the corresponding inputs, according to the instruction manuals. The CT is very accurate in measuring current.
