Supposedly it is for Socket 775 but unfortunately it's not, the bases don't fit even remotely. Even if they did fit, it wouldn't fit on my motherboard because the pipes protrude too much, but that's a motherboard issue. What is unacceptable is that the bases don't fit, and Arctic should be ashamed of themselves. Waste of money, and never again a product from this company.

Very good although it passes very - very close to the memories (it touches lightly) so it needs attention not to have a thin cooler on the memory. If it doesn't have any, it won't find it.

I put it in a Micro ITX case with an i7 1155 and an Asrock H61M motherboard. It barely fit in the areas where the memory and graphics card are, to the point where it puts pressure on them.
It also touched a heatsink on the motherboard and I had to bend 4 small blades downwards.
The result is that with the stock Intel cooler, after half an hour of good performance in video editing with the CPU at 95% and temperatures between 90 and 96 degrees, now with the same tasks (CPU at 95-98% load and locked clock speed at 3.6 GHz), the temperature doesn't go above 75 degrees.
It is also almost silent (much more than the stock Intel cooler).

I put it two days ago and I am very satisfied, for the 18 euros I bought it, it is the best you can get based on the money I had available. I have a 6th generation i5 processor and it reached up to 94 degrees Celsius (consistently at 65-72) and if it went higher it would shut down, so I had to clean it thoroughly at first and put a good thermal paste (before I bought the cooler), the temperature dropped but not much (consistently at 52-56 and 85-92 at full load). With the freezer 11 lp, I consistently have 40-53 degrees and at full load I have 65-70, there is a significant difference, it makes a bit more noise than the stock cooler but it doesn't bother me, very easy to install and stable, I recommend it, it's worth its money

  • The cooler is amazing, I have had it for a few days now and it cools my processor satisfactorily. My processor is an Intel Core i3 2120 3.3GHz and it works at satisfactory temperatures. The cooler was difficult to install on the motherboard, but that was a motherboard issue. It looks beautiful inside the case and I am happy with this purchase. The price is unbelievable

It didn't fit on the motherboard, it was interfering with a dimm memory next to the CPU. Eventually, I managed to install it and it works perfectly. It requires a little more space around the CPU than the stock Intel cooler. It works silently. I recommend it.

I bought it yesterday, I installed it (it has pre-applied paste on it, the Arctic MX-4). Because I have a small motherboard, it fit very tightly, almost touching the RAM. However, it dropped the temperature by 15 degrees! With the stock cooler, I had 57-60 degrees Celsius at 90% utilization (4K video), while now it doesn't exceed 48 degrees with the same utilization. At idle, it stays at 25-26 degrees Celsius!!
It has a very good construction for its cost of 15-16 euros, and it has a copper base, which provides excellent thermal conductivity!!
If I were to buy a computer again, I would get a tray CPU (without the stock cooler) and I would buy this one blindly! I hope it withstands the test of time, it's still early, but it seems to be excellent for its price.
Oh, I forgot to mention that the computer is now so quiet that I think it's turned off!

I switched from a mom cooler to this one. Although it's still early, the difference from the mom cooler is obvious. It's quiet and it lowered the temperature from 69 that I was seeing with Fortnite, BlueStacks, and Streamods open to a maximum of 50! Of course, I can't blame mom since I hadn't applied thermal paste for 6 years. But I highly recommend it. Very worth the money
