Regarding the qned 826re, it is indeed edge lit, just like the newer qned series (except for the mini led models) and like 80% of televisions and all screens, gaming monitors, laptop monitors, etc. The edge lit technology is simpler and provides very good uniformity, so as a result, the television is ideal for gaming and watching sports. Also, the television has an LED strip located at the bottom of the television, which is much more accessible and more economical to repair. The qned technology that the qned826 features is essentially a combination of quantum dot and nanocell. Overall, this particular television provides very high brightness, meaning a 2 times richer and brighter image compared to conventional televisions, reaching 500 nits, instead of the 250-280 that conventional ones reach. Overall, the image of the 826 has very little to envy even the more expensive televisions, even many of the OLEDs. Certainly, since it is not an OLED television, it does not run any risk of burn-in, unlike OLEDs. Also, the motion in the image does not produce the annoying flicker that budget or older generation OLEDs produce.
The only downside is the not excessively deep black. This may be noticeable in movies, but only in dark scenes, especially when subtitles appear, but it is not very annoying and you get used to it. This characteristic is present in many televisions in this price category. However, the qned826re features local dimming, although it has only 6 zones, which slightly help the performance of the black.
It is good to have a low polarizing light in the room, e.g., a lamp or some other type of lighting. Also, if you are watching movies, it might be good to lower the brightness of the backlight a bit to enhance the performance of the black...
The 120hz it has is perfect for gaming... but also for movies. The processor with AI does very good upscaling and generally transforms the image. Chaotically richer and more impressive image than the similarly priced and featured Samsung q70, and even from the q80.
Comparatively, the Samsung Q80D delivers colors more "softly," perhaps even more "flat," and does not achieve the same good viewing angle (due to the VA panel). However, it features full array technology with local dimming and will clearly provide better blacks in movies... For this reason alone, for some users, the Q80D may be the best choice... as well as the Sony X85L (full array with VA panel) at about the same price...
Also, good options include the LG 866, 966, 916, and 91T6, which have very good blacks thanks to the mini LED technology they possess, but the price goes up quite a bit.
However, we must not forget that the a7 Gen6 processor of the LG QNED 826 is very good and performs excellent upscaling and tone mapping.
Overall, the 65-inch QNED 826RE is a good choice for getting a good and rich image with high detail and color, good viewing angles, etc... with only the downside of not having very deep blacks, but I consider that something that is quite common...
And it definitely does not have the burn-in risk that OLEDs have... so the lifespan of the television, although not unlimited... is much longer than that of OLEDs.

Επίσης η τηλεόραση έχει λεντοταινία που βρίσκεται στο κάτω μέρος της τηλεόρασης και είναι πολύ πιο ευκολα προσβάσιμη και πιο οικονομική στην επισκευή .Κάτι ακόμα οι edge lit είναι πιο ανθεκτικές στους κραδασμούς , πχ σε περίπτωση που μετακινείτε συχνά τη τηλεόραση ή την έχετε σε βάση τοίχου και της αλλάζετε θέση .Δυστυχώς η αξιοπιστία και η συνολική διάρκεια ζωής των edge lit τηλεοράσεων δεν είναι κορυφαία , ειδικά αν έχετε τη τηλεόραση στο dynamic mode ή στο vivid mode . Προτιμήστε να τη χρησιμοποιείτε περισσότερο στο normal mode, eco mode ή filmmaker's mode και πάντα μακρυά απο εστίες θερμότητας.
Δυστυχώς σε πολλά tests, η αξιοπιστία της edge lit τεχνολογίας φαίνεται να υστερεί σε σχέση με τις direct led , full array και mini led τηλεοράσεις .Ωστόσο εξακολουθεί να είναι το ίδιο αξιόπιστη απο τις oled .

Η qned τεχνολογία που διαθέτει η qned826 είναι ουσιαστικά το πάντρεμα της quantum dot και της nanocell .
Συνολικά η συγκεκριμμένη τηλεόραση δίνει πολύ μεγάλη φωγεινότητα , δηλαδή 2 φορές πιο πλούσια και φωτεινή εικόνα ,σε σχέση με συμβατική τηλεόραση , φτάνει τα 500 nits , αντί των 250-280 που φτάνουν οι συμβατικές .Σαν αποτέλεσμα και η απόδοση σε hdr είναι πολύ καλή .
Τα χρώματα της qned 826 είναι πολύ πλούσια και η λεπτομέρεια της εικόνας πάρα πολύ υψηλή .Όλα αυτά χάρη στον πολύ δυνατό επεξεργαστή .
Προσοχή ομως η πολύ πιο οικονομική qned 756 κι 7Τ6 δεν έχουν σε καμία περίπτωση τη φωτεινότητα και τη χρωματική απόδοση της 826 ...
Κάτι ακόμα , το μοντέλο 826qe , του '22 έχει χαμηλότερο contrast απο της 826 re που είναι του 23.
Συνολικά η εικόνα της 826 έχει πολύ λίγα να ζηλέψει ακόμα και τις πιο ακριβές τηλεοράσεις , ακόμα και πολλές απο πολλές από τις oled .
Σιγουρα μιας και δεν είναι oled η τηλεόραση , δεν διατρέχει κανένα κίνδυνο burn in , όπως οι oled .
Επίσης η κίνηση στην εικόνα δεν βγάζει το ενοχλητικό τρέμουλο που βγάζουν οι οικονομικές ή παλιότερης γεννιάς oled .
Το μόνο μείον είναι το όχι υπερβολικά βαθύ μαύρο .
Αυτό μπορεί να φανεί στις ταινίες , αλλά μόνο στα σκοτεινά πλάνα ,ειδικά όταν εμφανίζονται οι υπότιτλοι , αλλά είναι κάτι το όχι πολύ ενοχλητικό και συνηθίζεται .Αυτό το χαρακτητιστικό είναι σε πολλες τηλεοράσεις αυτής της κατηγορίας τιμής .
Ωστόσο η qned826re διαθέτει local dimming , αν και έχει μόνο 6 ζώνες , βοηθάνε την απόδοση του μαύρου ελαφρώς.
Καλό είναι να έχετε ένα χαμηλό φως πόλωσης στον χώρο μας, πχ λαμπατέρ ή κάποιο άλλου είδους φωτιστικό . Επίσης αν βλέπετε ταινές , ενδεχομένως καλό είναι να χαμηλώνετε λίγο τη φωτεινότητα του backlight , ωστε να ενισχυεται η απόδοση του μαύρου ...
Τα 120hz που διαθέτει είναι τελεια για τα παιχνίδια...αλλά και στις ταινίες.Πολύ καλός ο επεξεργαστής με ai κάνει πολύ καλό upscaling και γενικά μεταμορφώνει την εικόνα .
Χαωτικα πιο πλούσια και εντυπωσιακή εικόνα από την αντίστοιχης τιμής και χαρακτηριστικών Samsung q70 , κι ακόμα κι από την q80 .
Συγκριτικά η Samsung q80d , αποδίδει πιο "απαλά" τα χρώματα , ίσως και πιο "flat" , και δεν πετυχαίνει το ίδιο καλή γωνία θέασης (λόγω του VA pannel ) . Όμως διαθέτει τεχνολογία full array με local dimming και θα δώσει σαφώς καλύτερο μαύρο στις ταινίες...Γι αυτό και μόνο τον λόγο , για κάποιους χρήστες η q80d ίσως να είναι η καλύτερη επιλογή ... όπως και επίσης η sony x85l(full array με va pannel ) σε περίπου τα ίδια χρήματα ....
Επίσης καλές επιλογές είναι και οι LG 866 , 966 , 916 και 91Τ6 που έχoυν πολύ καλό μαύρο χάρη στη mini led τεχνολογία που διαθέτουν , όμως η τιμή ανεβαίνει αρκετά .
Ωστόσο δεν πρέπει να ξεχάσουμε βέβαια πως ο επεξεργαστής a7 gen6 της lg qned 826 είναι πολύ καλός και κάνει πολύ καλό upscaling και tone mapping .
Γενικά η 65άρα qned 826re είναι μια καλή επιλογή ώστε να πάρουμε καλή και πλούσια εικόνα με υψηλή λεπτομέρεια και χρώμα , καλή γωνία θέασης κλπ...με μόνο μείον το όχι πολύ σκούρο μαύρο , αλλά αυτό είναι κάτι που θεωρώ συνηθίζεται ...
Και σίγουρα δεν έχει τον κίνδυνο του burn in που έχουν οι oled... οπότε και η διάρκεια ζωής της τηλεόρασης , αν και όχι απεριόριστη ... είναι πολύ μεγαλύτερη απο των oled .
